A prime example of why we have zero prime time games
So empty
I’m tired boss.
LET’S GO ANDY
LASER EYES PLAYOFFS
I’ve seen enough, we need to invest HEAVILY into our defense. I understand we were banged up but the lack of depth is glaringly obvious.
The moment the opposing team fans are louder than yours and start chanting ATL, you know you need to make fundamental changes from top to bottom
Everything else aside, Dalton beaning a camera guy with that throwaway is an S tier moment in franchise history.
Idk why, but it truly felt like a commentators curse as soon as he was saying Bryce needs to sit and watch a real veteran play, then proceeds to get picked off for the game to end.
At least we’re not the cowboys
XL is progressing, hope he progresses more and turns out to be a stud because we are lacking talent across the board, either due to injury or shit contracts (Ian Thomas). This rebuilding from the rebuild has been a painful journey. At least Chuba is a very bright spot and I’ll never forgive Dan Morgan if we don’t lock him down.
As someone said in the game thread, we are the worst team in the league but not always the worst every week. And that’s about as good as you can say about this team right now.
Well we’re shit because we’re devoid of talent at too many positions and riddled with injuries but at least we’re not the Cowboys who have talent and massively underperform
I hope y’all have an amazing week. You deserve it for being a fan of this abysmal team.
Might as well bring Bryce back and let him finish the season, just to be 99.9% sure he’s not the guy
I legitimately do not know if this team will ever be good
XL looked pretty good but idk why he’s out there so little, especially when mingo is out there. Diontae, XL, and Coker seem to do well
Even though these games sting, it feels good to see the offense actually producing well. Young receivers actually getting open downfield. Chuba has earned my respect as a runner and proves to be one of the best draft picks we’ve had, stings it was made by Nicole tho.
Hoping our offense can be exciting for the rest of the season
*sigh*
I think it would be a good idea to never try to throw the ball Ian Thomas’ way ever again
FTF
We need to get it together. Who knows how long it’ll take.. but I’m here for it.
I expected to lose by more. These guys are fielding a second string defense.
“So long and so wrong, so far away”
It sucks to lose, but there is optimism for the future. XL looks good, JT Sanders is improving, Trevon Wallace looks like a future starter, and it looks like we have something in Jalen Coker. Things are rough now, but there are some silver linings.
Welp. At least we scored more than **checks notes** 9 points.
When you actually enjoy watching a game because your team put up 20pts, while losing by 18, you know things are bad.
We put up a fight and thats what matters. Canales offence looks pretty good and the defense showed a lot more fight than previous weeks.
I, uh…
let’s go Hurricanes.
There, I said something positive.
I get everybody’s upset but our defense deadass allowed 38 pts and both their running backs to get over 100 yards. Today wasn’t on Andy and the offense
Is Canales allergic to giving Chuba the ball more than two times in a row? If Chuba had continued his beast mode runs on that drive we likely would have scored to being the score to 26/28 or 28/28.
At least we aren’t paying 330 million guaranteed to our QB and WR to put up 9 points.
I lowered my expectations coming into the season to being happy with being competitive for at least a half. We stayed competitive for 3 quarters so I’m pretty ok with that all things considered. Our defense sucks but maybe we’ll get lucky and steal another game.
I hope we are not following the Carolina Hurricanes model of missing the playoffs for a decade before becoming champion contenders
you draft Mason Graham and put him right next to Derek Brown.
I just want to say this I don’t want to see anymore Fantasy Draft mock boards having us select a Quarterback or a Wide Receiver there is no way you can’t watch us play and still have us going offense.
If you watch the games those people who make fantasy boards would see we need a defensive heavy draft because our defense lacks so much.. hopefully following tonight mock drafts will have us going defense.
Where defense
Glad to see Coker getting Mingo’s snaps
Chuba is now one of the best RBs in the game and no one but Panthers fans seems to know.
I’m in Asheville, living through the biggest disaster in North Carolina history.
And the hurricane was pretty bad too.
Atleast our uniforms looked sweet
I thought Canales called an absolute gem of a game. The only way to stop a team from scoring on us is to hold the ball. Our defense is atrocious. And yet….we were competitive. If not for Dalton’s disastrous decision to force it to Ian Thomas, who knows how this one turns out.
Many will think I’m crazy for saying this, but I think we are only a year away from .500 football and 2 years away from a playoff push. We need to commit to Dalton during that time and build the team around him while looking for a QB to develop. Fitterer gutted the team, but I’m a big fan of what Dan Morgan has done so far as GM.
Lovely weather we are having
The only way to enjoy football as a Panther is to have other teams or players to cheer for.
Maybe I’m huffing the copium here but I feel like the team is going to make a BIG step forward this offseason. Our offense and scheme actually seems pretty good under handsome Dave. Putting a concerted effort in to defense..especially DEPTH could make an insane difference. Most of these guys are PS level. Dalton is a bridge guy, however. So I don’t know what the answer is there.
