That's right…I said it 😲
EDIT: Thank you for the feedback on the audio, I had some settings reset unexpectedly. I didn't save what I had previously, and kind of rushed unfortunately. The issue IS FIXED though, and it will be much better in my future videos :).
ALSO thank you to everyone who has taken the time to watch, like, comment, subscribe or all of the above. This video has already gained me more subscriptions then any of my other ones.
Not in size, but in terms of skill, he is very much like Larry Robinson. And yes, I'm that old. lol
Hey Bud…I agree, Lane Hutson IS similar, in ways, to Cale Makar.
No Lane Hutson remind me of… Lane Hutson 😉
As a Habs fan I'm not comfortable with comparing Hutson to Makar. Makar is as elite as you can be and it's useless pressure on a 20yo in my opinion. Hutson will be good in its own way I'm sure.
As an Ottawa fan i am not excited to have to face this team all year. You are right though, this kid embodies the new age defenceman. They aren't just steady, bang it back into the corner. They use deception, fakes, stick work, and incredible skating to jump in on rushes or creep in from the point. I love it. It's great for hockey.
Hutson will be his own player just like Hughes, Makar and Fox are their own selves.
Simple Hutson is just one of a kind at his size, but that brain of his, his mobility, deception and drive are what separates him
He is giving the Habs a serious second powerplay unit all on his own and that is huge.
I just want him to be laine Hudson go HABS
Hes the smaller Makar without the release. I think his playmaking and scoring creation will be just as good though
Ghule was huge on PK wih Evans. This is real good.
He's only 5 games into his NHL career and he already has 6 points coming straight out of college. I wouldn't put him on the level of Makar right now but he's rising star to keep an eye on.
Bro I been saying that since last year !! We got ourselves a gem !!
As a Habs fan this is the most exciting I’ve been in a long time, this kid steals the show every time he’s on the ice, and the thought of Demidov coming in in a year or two, my God
Lane Hutson 70 point average in NHL 24 – 10 seasons in
I know its a game, but drafted him in round 12 of my fantasy draft, and so far hes my best d man
Deking out an NHL player is impressive…
Deking out an NHL cameraman is absolutely insane hahaha
He'll just need to add some size and work on his shot, that's it. This kid at 23 will be something else
I don't think he has a comparable Lane Hutson is Lane Hutson
Your audio is really bad.
He is Lane BoneZone Hutson!
Imagine makar and Hutson on the same line with the habs.
Little tip: Lower the gain on whatever your microphone is plugged in. Your voice is distorting.
The hype is real this time. Hutson is one of those "different" players
I've only seen him for 20 seconds and I can say yes , he does have some similarities to the movements of Makar or Hughes. Promising looking player.
This is what i told my brother, that Hutson reminds me of Cale Makar and i will say Quinn Hughes also. Wait until he adds 25-30 pounds to his frame
Hughes is better than Makar anyway. The reason he gets compared to Hughes is he's 5'9", 185, and Hughes proved smaller defensemen who can skate can thrive in the NHL.
Lane your one special hockey player stay healthy sky is limit son We ❤ U as a serious habs fan ! Habs emblem tattood on my body
I saw like 10 seconds of this guy playing and became a fan. Such an exciting player!
He doesn't have the strongest shot, and that kind of comes with him just being smaller and of course, young. If he develops a solid wrist and snap shot he will win the Norris in a couple of years and be a candidate multiple times. This kid is the real deal.
