I feel the same way when arte spoke recently… don't care about anything he has to say…. he has destroyed the angels and l hope ohtani gets a ring.. my Christmas wish I hope he sells the team 🤞… he is the most despicable owner in the game and thousands of fans feel the same way I do 😢

The only reason you're even hearing from Arte is ticket sales are tanking. I've not seen Angel Stadium that empty all season in a very very long time. If you don't see some really good pitching bought, and all the current staff gone… you know we're looking at another last place season.

Arte is going to forever be the guy who lost this generation's Babe Ruth. And like the guy who traded Ruth because he thought paying him would be roo much of a gamble, no one is going to remember who Arte is long after he and his money tried he tried to hold onto is gone. I won't believe a word he says until he actually does anything he claims he'll do.

Arte had no chance to resign Shohei. Ohtani is worth far more to the Dodgers than he waa to the Angels… maybe by a factor of 3. The Dodgers are known internationally, the Angels are unknown outside of Orange County. And for the same reason, Ohtani's off-the-field income is many times more playing in Chavez Ravine.
