The Calgary Flames scored four unanswered goals and then scored the game-winner in overtime to shock the Vancouver Canucks 6-5.
The Canucks started the game strong but inexplicably took their foot off the gas.

i know jt miller is a tough guy but hes also our best forward, maybee he shouldnt be fighting a guy twice his size in the first game of the year. we should never let a bum like mantha touch him.

I told everyone that said Silovs was amazing my ass!!! He can’t stop long Wrist shots from 40 feet !!! He’s garbage man and goes down easily!!! That’s sad I don’t know why the Rocket started him over the Finnish goalie…

Miller’s hit was dirty. Rooney actually didn’t even touch the puck. A couple seconds then passed , and then the puck was actually on Miller’s stick when he laid the hit. How is it a legal hit when Miller has the puck on HIS stick ?
not playing a full 60 was our Achilles heel last season, need to get every player to buy in for the entire game. Not necessarily worried right now, just frustrated, but if this trend continues it will be a long season. Glad this is at the forefront of issues right now, offence looked good when we were clicking. I'm expecting a big bounce back effort tomorrow night. Go Canucks Go!

If JT MILLER does not score, it' a no win for the CANUCKS that is what I PREDICTED.
I liked Millar’s goal and the fact that we got 1 point out of the game when it could have been an outright disaster.
I only watched the highlights but Calgary’s goals seemed like they kind just happened.
I’m not worried. Every point counts in the regular season, 1 is better than 0.
They can score , they just can’t defend.
They stink thats what happened 😂
