I’m saying it now, Ryan Rehkow will be the greatest punter of all time.

  1. Mo Egger called him that jokingly after week 1 and I’ve been saying it ever since to my kids during games. “We didn’t convert 3rd down? Time to bring out the greatest punter in NFL history!”

  2. He’s on track for the best ever in the league. He needs to hit a couple more booms to get the sample size correct.

  3. This is funny. I actually was bummed, audibly said “aww” on that one punt he had a touchback. Crazy how you can used to excellence that quickly.

  4. Would have liked to see more inside the 10 instead of the 10-15 but I’ll take it after the Brad Robbins and Drew Chrisman experiences. Good Lord they were awful

  5. His punt from the end zone was what solidified it for me. Dude bombed it 7yds in the end zone, all the way to the opposing 32 yard line.

It feels so good having a punter who can flip the field and not give any unnecessary advantages to the other team.

  6. I’ve commented this before, but he seems like a super nice guy too. I was at training camp and he was shagging balls for Evan’s kicks right next to where me and my 5 year old son and several other kids were and he was talking to them and tossing balls with them and couldn’t have been nicer. At the time he was just a backup punter but he immediately became my son’s second favorite player behind Burrow. My son still refers to him as “my friend number 8”.

  7. I never thought I could be this excited about a punter in my life, 25-35 yards punts for a few years will do that to ya though. Flipping the field has always been a huge weakness of ours.

  8. He’s so good he actually contributes on damn near every punt flipping the field. Honestly not sure I’ve seen a bad punt yet.
