  1. Also fuck this near $7 billion dollar franchise for not having a dome.. WE PLAY FOOTBALL IN NJ IN THE FALL & WINTER

Idk how many games this mediocre team has been affected by weather conditions

  2. I legit don’t think I’ve ever felt more defeated, this shit is on a biological level, this one really hurts. It feels like we are cursed. What the fuck man, we just can’t seem to escape this endless loop of mediocre.

  3. Such doom and gloom here. If we had an ok kicker, we’d be 4-2. I’ll start getting sad after we’re mathematical eliminated. Does it suck yea, but the season is not over.

  4. It’s hard watching Jets games with my roommates who aren’t Jets fans man. They even want me to see wins and it’s just embarrassing how we lose games

  5. i made a business decision for my mental health after this game to give them up till woody sells the team or they rename the team or relocate or something because there is something very very rotten deep in this franchise and it seem that will never seemingly be fixed

  6. I’m sorry for being such a downer, but I feel broken by this season. I feel a seismic shift in my attitude towards after this ultimate hype fest offseason into the inevitable shit show. This team will never get it right.

  7. Rodgers is coming off a major injury and he’s getting beat up every week. The OLine can’t consistently pass protect or run block and they keep getting penalties. We have the most drops in the NFL. Mike Will looked cooked, Breece had a drop & should have been able to run for TD, we had a TD taken away beacuse of an OLine penalty & the kicker can’t actually kick anymore 🤦‍♂️ Clemons & Kinlaw were hot garbage. Downing was an upgrade on Hack though, hopefully we can keep improving there. Other than that, it’s the same old Jets! 😭

  8. Am I that off to feel okay? I feel gaslit right now. That loss is a stinger but I took away some positives from the offense. I feel okay

  9. Watching that last throw it looked like Rodgers wanted to throw up a 50/50 ball and give Williams a chance to box out and jump for it, which is why he threw it high and it was short of Williams, but it looked like Williams was thinking touchdown or clear out on the route so he ran deeper than expected. Either way just a heartbreaker

  10. This franchise just can’t figure out how to win. Poor in the red zone, too many unnecessary penalties, missed FGs, inability to contain the run.

  11. Been a Jets fan for 27 years. This was the one that broke me. I think it’s finally time to hang it up

  12. Jets having the bad close game luck this season oh well. I’m done I’ll watch I’ll cheer but I ain’t four to think for a second there anything interesting left about this season

  13. We somehow lost all three phases of the game:
    – Offense couldnt finish drives and had too many penalties

    – Defense while decent, didnt create turnovers and couldnt hold the bills to under 20 which is what a good defense can do

    – special teams sure were special. Congrats Greg your the new scapegoat of the week, have fun on ur next team

Positives: offense started faster, GW and BH actually played like stars, and Lazard has become a solid #2.

Gonna take a miracle for this year to be ours

  14. Clemons is mega ass man. My grandpa who had hip surgery still has more lateral agility than him. Fuck it. Get Reddick in.

  15. My weekly cope for this week is 3-3 is the wild card rn

These next two are winnable I mean the Steelers offense isn’t supposed to be insane unless our run d fails again, Steelers defense is good but we have Aaron, then we beat New England

Gotta figure something out, these next two games are deadass the final chance, you lose any of them is 100% over. Rn it’s 95% over

  16. It’s like you put on a Jets jersey and Woody Johnson brainwashes you into being awful at your job

  17. At this point, I don’t even care if we fire Douglas and the whole coaching staff. It won’t make a difference because we never make the right choices in who to hire anyway. We’ll just replace them with other inexperienced or incompetent personnel so what difference does it make.

  18. Also, the NFL really needs to take a deeper look into the refereeing. There should never be a game in which you have 200 yards of penalties accepted. It’s a physical sport with a lot happening – there is going to be shit all game long. It’s on the crew to call the egregious shit, and not completely ruin/ stop the flow. That call on Tyron Smith to bring back the Braelon touchdown is just pathetic and had ZERO effect on the play.

  19. The amount of penalties made this game unwatchable. I don’t blame people for saying they don’t like football after games like this.

  20. Already onto next week. Had an hour to sulk.

They need a win next week at Pittsburgh. Tough place to play. Tough place to win. Tough team.

Going to be an ugly game. Pittsburgh is going to be physical. Jets have to match their intensity. Guys have to prepare to be beaten up a little bit. Rodgers is going to get hit. The running game is going to be a grind.

And it’s Pittsburgh at home. They will get every single call and every single break. Their secondary will be allowed to hold and molest the receivers. Don’t expect any roughing the passer calls. They gonna hit late.

I don’t care if the Jets win 6-3. Just win and end this slump.

  21. Both teams had egregious penalties go both ways so it kinda evened out. Still ridiculous though. Maybe it had something to do with it being nationally televised idk..wanted to show their sponsors something

  22. We’re pushing 15 years since we’ve last been to the *playoffs*. The Jets have truly managed to make football overall so unenjoyable. Basketball can’t start soon enough.

  23. This team has one of the most cursed auras in all of professional sports. I truly can’t comprehend why anybody would use their own hard earned money to buy season tickets after 15 consecutive years of abject failure.

I see no hope for the immediate to medium term future and truly believe the only thing that will make a real difference in the long run is a change of ownership.

  24. Even in the post game presser, Aaron sounds as done as the people on this sub lol. Calling out the officiating, calling out the “terrible” red zone, mad because MW was supposed to go straight out and he cut kinda inwards at the end so Rodgers had to adjust his throw for him, mad about the holding to take away Allen’s TD, mad about the kicks. Said we “gave it away”.

He sounds as defeated and annoyed as us all lol. And it’s been SIX GAMES. This team is fucked.

God bless yall still holding onto hope, Fields is gonna run all over us next week. Wouldn’t be shocked if Maye has a breakout game as well, and then I *would* be shocked if Rodgers somehow survives against Houston. The corpse of Smith is gonna get him killed that game, if he makes it there, mark my words. That D-Line will crush him the way our O-Line is playing.

We’re legitimately staring down the barrel of 2-7 right now, call me a doomer, whatever, all three of those next games look very much like games this team can “give away”, as Rodgers said. We look pathetic in all phases. Even with improvements tonight, still look like ass in the end.
