  1. Not saying this is a reason but the fact that Contreras left and instantly became so much better. I have to think maybe they felt Sal wasn’t getting everything out of their players. Just a thought

  2. They’re not “blowing the whole thing up”, they’re just changing hitting coaches. No need to be soooo dramatic. I think u were right with the “getting a new voice in there”… The correct answer is usually the simplest.

  3. I just dont really understand blaming any coaching when going from 2023 to 2024… whos fault was it in 2023?? That will give you a pretty good idea of whos fault it was in 2024… hint hint… THE PLAYERS! Injuries did not help.

  4. Remember up until a couple years ago we had to shift. The only option seemed to be to hit home runs. now that the shift is gone, maybe they see the need to change their approach.

  5. I just want to say to Kevin Seitzer thank you! Kevin Seitzer served as hitting coach for the Braves for the last 10 years. With him the Braves won the 2021 World Series and six consecutive NL East titles. Hopefully he gets another job. Braves decided to move on and I agree with the move. But don't wish him bad on the guy. Wish him the best.

  7. Yes. It was the best offense in the history in 2023. Yet they got beat in the first round in the playoffs (two years in a roll). This is not even talking this last regular and post season. Maybe they just think new hitting coaches can add to what is going right. It is like two birds in one stone. I do hope the former hitting coaches are just wanting to retire. They were good as you mentioned.

  11. I think this team needs to utilize all aspects of the game especially in offense. They need to learn how to manufacture runs, move runners, use squeeze plays; get more singles and doubles rather than wanting to hit the long ball every at bat. I think our pitching performed really well and i believe we discovered 2 really good new starting pitchers. I hope we make enough changed to make a really good run next season

  12. Kevin was not let go because of the performance of the offence this year. It may have had a small part but the biggest reason is to have a new voice. The vision they have moving forward simply doesn’t fit with Kevin. There is nothing but respect for between the organization and him. Wish him all the best in the future.
