[Pavlovic] Matt Chapman, Patrick Bailey and Mike Yastrzemski are Gold Glove Award finalists. Chapman should get his fifth award, Bailey and Yaz are looking for their first.

  2. Bailey and Chapman should win with ease imo, hopefully Yaz does too. He’s deserved one for a few years now

  3. Chappy and Bailey should be shoo-ins. Hoping the best for Yaz, lord knows he deserves it playing the toughest right field in baseball.

  6. If Bailey doesn’t win they should cancel the award entirely. He was by far the best defensive player in the league last season.

  7. Bailey should already have one, but I can at least understand the games played stuff last year. Should honestly win the platinum glove too though, his defensive numbers are so absurd. Best pitch framer in the game by a significant margin

  8. Watching that atrocious catching and lack of blocking by Naylor in the playoff game last night made me appreciate Bailey. But it’s really his framing that is gold glove worthy.

  11. Yaz deserves the hell out of a gold glove. Would love to see Chappy get another, and would be over the moon for Bailey to get his 1st.

  12. Can anyone explain why Juan Soto is a finalist of AL RF? Every time I’ve seen him out there either in New York or San Diego, he looks like a DH in rthe outfield. Has he stepped it up this year When I‘ve not been looking?

  14. Really hope Yaz can win one, it’s about time. Few play right field at Oracle as well as he does!
