Easy win let's gooooooo yankees 💪
Outplayed NY tonight till 7th by then it was over…gave this one away & had Cole on ropes 2,3,4th & 5th…NY shell of themselves from years back-neither team winning squat
Lots of issues here. But ultimately scoring only 2 runs a game and getting down early every game has been the difference.
Bull-NY hitting line up is nothing-look back 10-15 years ago (even 20) NY spent again 2-3x more than CLV and needs favors to win games-PLZ!!!!!….laughable
Probably would not have changed the outcome. But they could have had Bibee in the game longer beyond the 2nd inning. They could have gotten four or five innings out of him and in the process had less wear and tear on the bullpen. Going to be tough now.
LOL, love the Hill description!!
They barely got by Detroit which probably should have been a red flag to start with but the offense just looks completely outmatched. The Guardians only average like 3 runs a game which the Yankees can score in their sleep. I expect Guards to steal a game or two at home but they just aren’t good enough to compete with the big boys.
Why didn't Hedges bunt when he had the bases loaded? Everyone knows he can't hit.
Too many runners always left on base. It's frustrating to watch. This is why we need a power hitter. Get both Naylors off this team and get some power hitting.
Your awesome Adam
2 or 3 more games and see you next year, guys.
Baseball can be an extremely frustrating sport. Guardians had many opportunities, just unable to get the key hit. And that dropped infield pop-up in the first didn’t help for sure. Perhaps they will regain momentum back in Cleveland.
As a Yankees hater I was disappointed that Detroit did win the last series because we all know the Yankees have always owned Cleveland baseball teams. I knew the Yankees were a lock for the series then
The only way Cleveland wins a game or the series is if they win games 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1. They do not have the offensive fire power to win games against the Yankees if they give up three or more runs. This team is built on pitching and even the pitching has been bad so far. I know Adam said they were going to win the series in seven, but there’s just no way they’re beating the Yankees.
They absolutely blew it again , to me it seems the Yankees want it more where is the Fire , the bottom line is that the Yankees are tough to beat , now wr absolutely gotta take the next 2 in a row but I don't see it
Thank you Dolans, you cheap bastards
Yankees fan but u dope bru I’m subbing
Bull…what about the shrinking strike zone for us and the expanded one for them. If they don't want a small market team in the World series just say so
Anthony Rizzo batting 8th.
Paul Sorrento feels….except Rizzo was MVP level.
The mood here is very negative. I get we’re down 2-0, but we should A) be grateful to be here. B) realize we’re still in it even down 2-0.
I am starting to feel there is some tanking going on. We do not play this bad on defense and this happens? Media, etc are doing, causing something so they don't have another small market team be in world series.
😢can't make errors and walk guys
😢left alot of guys on base
Like I said, your lineup is one good hitter away from competing with the big boys.
To many mistakes to beat these fools!!
The Indians just aren’t as good as the yanks. The Yankees haven’t even played well.
With the Yankees you have to be able to keep up with the runs that they can score…. I feel like it's always been that against the Yankees and for the longest time now the Guardians haven't made enough plays to get those hits/runs…
You can be watching the game vs the Yankees walk away for 30 seconds and the score be COMPLETELY and DRASTICALLY different…we simply do not have that kind of fire power on our roster.
All year we were the team that took advantage of other team's mistakes while we normally played clean games. We have to play that way because our lineup is just not that deep. The first two games of this series we have been sloppier than we have all year. You can't give the Yankees free outs. They're hard enough to beat without giving them more opportunities. Jeez.
