I’m a fan of another club but I watch you guys every day, and I will continue just for one reason alone – the brothers Frisch know how to pronounce “versus”!! The talking heads on the TV MLB programs don’t!! I keep waiting for which book they are talking about when they regularly say “verse”. Send them a link fellas! In all seriousness, great show.
Enright did the best of the hodgepodge talent we have. Without Shohei's 10 wins last season already hindered the rotation to make up that deficit. As my preseason prediction, came close to the 64 wins and 98 losses. ArturoBall's lack of signing a SP didn't help the cause either.
Few more future concerns:
1. Roansy- Again stop with changing his role. Starter, reliever, and closer all this season alone. Choose 1 and make it final.
2. Mederos- Was a SP at Rocket City. Don't make him a reliever. Not another young pitcher casualty.
3. Finally cut ties with Suarez and Rosenberg. Quijada is another one if he doesn't develop a consistent secondary pitch.
Lastly, IMO Enright needs an assistant. Someone to help the relievers, while Enright can focus on the starters. Also, whatever happened to Bill Hezel of Driveline?
One pitcher we haven't talked about for 2025 is Sam Bachman.
