  1. This year has been a blessing from God in my life. Arriving in San Diego, a city as beautiful as its incredible fans, has been an unforgettable experience. From day one, the organization, the offices, the coaches and my teammates made me feel at home. And you, the fans, who filled the stands with passion and enthusiasm, were the energy that drove us every day.

Every moment, every game, every victory and challenge, I lived them with a heart full of gratitude. I carry each of those memories with deep affection. I don’t lose hope to come back in 2025 and give it my all, once again, for this team and for you, who were always there, supporting tirelessly.

Thank you, with all my heart. Together we built something special, and I hope to repeat it and move forward.

Remember it’s not by power or might but by His Spirit .

  2. The pictures in his post are so genuine. The video of manny watching his kid dancing and Solano during Cease’s no hitter in particular are so heartfelt.

  3. I really wanted to see more of him in the Dodgers series. Saw him a lot on the Twins last year and the team always seemed to look a little better when he started.

  4. I’d bring back as many players as possible just for 1-2 years. It was a great roster, who cares what it would cost only for 1-2 yrs? Who knows what you’ll get once you start replacing players? Can you for sure improve it and promise abetter record/outcome? (That’s unlikely). Yeah Scott for sure is gone but everyone else I think (and the players seem to want to stay) is attainable. Profar (pay the guy), Peralta, Higgy, (don’t trade) Arraez, Solano, stuck with Boegarts, Merrill will to get stronger, plus everyone else will be healthier. This team had it and it just slipped away from them. I believe that it’s worth another shot. Plus trade DeVries for a SP (it’ll hurt but doesn’t Preller draft a roster-full of SS every year?).

  5. It was a fun year. Wish we were still playing. Sucks they went out in a way that wasn’t like them. Still hurts

  6. Hope we can manage to keep Donnie Barrels.

I love his approach to batting – driving up counts and not giving anything for free
