I thought he was quiet to start the year, but in the two games since returning from injury, he has been great. Even with how bad the defence was against the Ravens, there were times in that game where he could have gotten a sack if it was a different QB. Against the Giants he was a consistent disruption, and his hit on Jones led to the Pratt INT.

I was also impressed with McKinnley Jackson. It wasn’t perfect, but for a rookie just playing his first couple of games off of injury, he made some nice plays. There were a few times where he was able to eat up blocks, which disrupted a running play.

DJ Turner bounced back nicely after his pass interference call. Played well overall, staying tight in coverage and making a nice pass breakup on a critical play. Give some optimism that he can help keep things afloat with Hill out for the year.

Tycen Anderson is also someone who deserves a shout. Special teamers don’t always get the recognition, but he stood out as a gunner, getting down the field to make a couple of tackles. Got a game ball from Zac after the game, too.

The biggest negative from the game looked like the OL. Don’t want to make too big a deal of it, as the Giants have a really good DL. But Burrow was running around quite a bit, and took a couple of sacks.

  1. I do feel like there were times no one was open or there were no hot routes. Felt like he did get a clean pocket and time to throw by NFL standards and either didn’t or no one broke open resulting in a sack.
