No matter the number of issues the Cowboys have, it can massively stem off of one major issue that has been the issue with the team since the 1990s and why they haven't been to the Super Bowl since 1996. It's Jerry Jones. He wanted every bit of credit for the success of the Aikman Cowboys, which led back then to the firing of Jimmy Johnson and him from that point on signing coaches who wouldn't try to usurp his ideology. Especially in the past decade we have had Jason Garrett and Mike McCarthy coaching this team, and they've been good, but not enough to beat teams with actual great coaching.

   Okay, well what about this defensive problem, it's not like he coaches the defense? Well, no, but he chooses his coaching staff. He knew about Dan Quinn leaving, so who did he promote to DC? Was it his DB coach who after losing a key piece of the defense in Trevon Diggs early on could have dipped out and instead saw the rise of DaRon Bland? No, Joe Whitt left with Dan Quinn to be the DC in Washington. Well what about the DL coach who oversaw the development of Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence and even got production out of a backup in Dorance Armstrong Jr? No, and DA Jr also left with Dan Quinn, and Adam Durde also got an opportunity to be a DC, in Seattle… under a defensive head coach. So who'd he hire instead to be his DC? Mike Zimmer, who has been out of the NFL completely ever since he got canned from his job in Minnesota. Who proved to benefit from the Mike Zimmer firing since you can say the 2023 Vikings were better coached than the 2020 Vikings who had the same number of wins… And the 2023 Vikings had 4 different QBs start games for them.

   Also, a reminder that when Jerry was in the situation of paying Dak or paying Zeke, he shut down the idea of giving Zeke a big contract because "the run game doesn't win you championships." While he was right that Zeke's career would go mostly downhill from there, I just have to ask. Hey Jerry, how's your team doing with the worst run game in the League?

And someone who seems to be having more problems speaking and thinking in a coherent manner. This sounds familiar, but I just can't remember who this so strongly resembles.

    Hit his Ego and bottom line as hard as you can! Don't buy Jersey's, caps, jackets or any Cowboys memorabilia! Stop filling the Stadium! Start chanting "Jerry" when the Cowboys are loosing or when they lose! Leave the Stadium early! Make a "We Need a New GM" chant! Stop giving him your hard earned money to Jerry! Even a 1% drop in sales is a big thing! Make him feel the pressure! You're The Fans! Make your voices heard!

22. As a Cowboys fan I had zero hype even before the season started. The playoff loss to Green Bay was absolutely dreadful and the team did not improve during the offseason. Mike McCarthy has hit his ceiling and was not fired. The only benefit of this year is for the rookies to get their XP but Im totally writing this season off

25. This is more than just Dak. Mahomes doesn’t always score a ton of points but his defense doesn’t allow them to get blown out either. The defense and the O-line gives Mahomes time to figure things out.
