  1. Pitcher wise, Wood, Prior were face of Cubs. So you need to get couple of those something like 20wins, no-hitter, Cy Young, lead Cubs to WS, being unquestioned #1 SP for more than 4,5 years, etc pedigrees to be considered face of franchise.

  2. Hard to pick anyone on this current team to be a face of the franchise. Maybe PCA or Shota, but it’s too early to tell. Nico has an outside chance because of his love of the game and his defense. If he picks up the offense a bit, he could be it.

  3. I hear ya, Sam. The thing that scares is one day sometime in the future all these postseason games will probably be pay per view. Wouldn't surprise, it's getting to be all about the $$

  4. Why would you buy a jersey in the first place . How old are you ? Is that important to you ? Do you really want to give Ricketts more of your money ? Other than. The starting staff there are no,stars on this team ! Stop pretending .

  5. PCA has the chance to be this teams superstar. It'll come down to how well he can hit over 162. If he can't manage around an .800 OPS he'll probably be very similar to Kevin Kiermaier which is still a very valuable player just not a star/superstar.

  6. The Cubs are like that Billy Idol song "Eyes Without a Face". Kind of like during the lockdowns in 2020-21 with the masks on. I was jamming that and the Police, "Don't Stand So Close To Me". Those were dark times. Felt like a Jedi when all the men in this country turned into brainwashed pussies.
