This series was done after the first game. Team got punched in the mouth and died….had an aberration game two, then came back to normal. Pete needs to be paid nothing, Alvarez needs to go back into the minors, Iglesias needs to switch back to music, Marte is done….Going to get blown out tonight and lose the series at home…in normal Mets fashion. This crap has been happening for decades….Why is anyone surprised? Same story different year….

Call her for what it is The Mets Cinderella story has ended and they met a juggernaut in the Dodgers! Go Blue!!! No! things will not turn on a dime, stop it! the first step in denial is admitting it!!

Why no one speaking about the home umpire? There were a few strikes in and out strike zone that weren't called. I knew we were going to lose the game in the 2nd inning.
Let's be honest, MLB wants to see Dodgers vs Yankees not Mets vs. Guardians. It's a no-brainer. Even people that don't follow baseball will be tuning in. Lol
I remember the Yankees were up 3 games to 0 against the Red Sox who were down to their last out and the came back, won and took the rest of the series to go to the World Series. It's not looking good for the boys but never say never. Baseball is a funny game.
A rotation of over-achieving journeymen didn't go all the way? Shocking
OMG looks more like M.I.A.
The problem with the METS is that they forget their bats in their hotel rooms and wind up hitting with KENDO STICKS. Then you have MENDOZA playing ALVAREZ who has been terrible on offense and defense. Finally, the METS' hitters are chasing pitches off the strikr zone instead of being aggresive within the strike zone, sometimes taking piyches right down the plate.
Mearde happens. Be happy you’re not a current Cardinals fan. Your team has brought great joy this season. Who knows? Perhaps more happiness to come. Be grateful and enjoy the ride.
Have to give Evan credit. He is always there for his team day or night. Regardless of whether they win or lose. And I am not even a Mets fan. I root for the TB Rays.

I know many of us are looking for the silver lining in the cloud, and that's fine. it's not far fetch that a team can come back from a 1-3 deficit, Let's not forget the major meltdown in 2004 Yanks/Red Sox. So until the final batter in the 9th inning (or more) I'll keep hope alive. Right now, we might as well go out like a bunch of crazed dogs!

Hi Rico-the Mets are just worn down but you have to give them credit that they came this far as if you looked at the team in May there was no way you would think they have come this far. So kudos to Metz and congratulations on a great season. Looking forward to hot stove league talk this winter. I hope the Yankees make it to the World Series and beat the Dodgers ass.
This series looks like the JV playing the varsity this is so overmatched Mets look cooked!Alvarez blows!
Even a team of destiny that has some mojo and some magic are not good enough to overcome 8 walks a game.
Evan is such a nozzle scoring games in a book! That’s why little league teams look for a parent to score the game,I mean what an idiot!
The teams that came from 3-1 down abd blew out the leading team did that at home. Braves Red Sox and Giants.
