1. Flat out, he needs a third pitch

2. Kerry Carpenter's game 2 home run in the ALDS broke Clase. He hasn't been the same since that hit.

    Mariano Rivera had a 0.70 ERA in the playoffs in 141.0 innings with 110 strikeouts, 42 saves, and 11 earned runs..in his career in route to 5 world championships.

    Clase has 9 earned runs this postseason alone. Embarrassingly bad take.

22. I respectfully disagree the one guy you don't pitch to is Staton with 1st base open. Vogt got out managed by Boone. He didn't bring in his closer after being rocked. Forget his psyche, your team played their hearts out to tie the game you let someone else pitch the 9th.
