7. Yes I would do this. Hendon was always a luxury pick, and insurance in case Goff regressed. Once Goff inked that new contract Hooker has been trade bait. That's why you put him in at the end of the Dallas game and let him throw instead of just handing it off every time, so the rest of the league can see him in a game. That said, I don't think you can just swap him out for James Houston because Houston has shown he's regressed, and the Raiders need a quarterback. Offering them Hooker is selling them on the idea of a young, 1st Rd talent QB who only fell due to his injury, is now healthy, and now you don't have to use a draft pick on a new QB and can draft around him like the Lions did with Goff. The Raiders could effectively use their own high 1st on a replacement for Crosby or Adams, or even draft their own version of Sewell to protect Hendon, then use our pick on a WR and with that you've effectively replaced Adams and Crosby on the cheap in one draft with a relatively young QB coming in from a winning culture to develop with those players.

   If you are saying it's not Hooker, then whoever you offer with Houston has to wow the Raiders in some way. My guess, you trade them either Malcolm Rodriguez or Craig Reynolds. Rodrigo was All Rookie and has upside to at least start and develop into something more and Craig is a decent all around back who with us getting Vaki will likely never see much of a meaningful offensive down here.

25. I agree to disagree…. I just don’t see Maxx Crosby being traded. And I don’t think how Rams did things as a franchise is the way to go. Just saying.

26. I would make that trade all day long. Games are won and lost in the trenches, and we would have the best lines in the NFL on both sides of the ball for the foreseeable future.

27. Sadly these are all speculations. I love your videos but every trade rumor lions are involved in is and will always be speculation until its in writing. The Lions have NEVER added a high profile athlete during F/A or through any trades in any of our 4 major professional sports in the last 20 years. Last was Rasheed Wallace. Last year i believe the Lion's should of added a defensive talent at the deadline but they never did, was more disappointed that they didn't do it either. If the Lions trade for someone and not like the player, its risky unlike free agency where you can at least interview the players first. Im definitely on board with trading hooker and 1-2 draft picks. Realistically i think brad is trying to get a great player but only give up a 4-5th round pick. Sadly hes gonna need to trade more to get a better player.

I’d argue because of the contracts and age you will not have Hooker valued any higher than he is right now and should throw him into this deal. The motor city rush will be a league force the next 2 years with Crosby and Hutch. Crosby is still young enough to be resigned after his current contract in which BH has shown to pay out the guys that perform which he will east trade.

38. As a huge Raiders/Rams fan(I’m born in Los Angeles 53 years old) it will sting 🦂 🐝 for a long time if we traded Max for sure! Unfortunately I truly believe that the NFL has a vendetta against the Raiders still to this day because of the history of the Al Davis court battle against the NFL and if you need proof just please tell me why then there was a random email leak on John Gruden and the Raiders a couple of years ago? Maybe because he had the Raiders on an upward swing albeit slowly but surely and nothing would make the NFL happier than to keep the Raiders at near the bottom of the standings and trust me I’m sure they tell the referees to make borderline calls go against them. Anyways, Maxx deserves better than what the Raiders have accomplished during his career and I don’t know if you have heard that Devine Deablo our starting LB called out a DE on the team after our latest loss to the Steelers for leaving his gap to try to be a hero because the rush is killing the team and Maxx also shoved a coach on the sidelines for being frustrated but we don’t know what happened exactly but the team is going against each other and if we get a haul similar to what the Lions got for Matthew Stafford that would help both teams just like the Stafford trade helped both Los Angeles and Detroit.
