As a falcons fan, it’s nice to know that we do have the future sorted out. However, up until like two weeks ago only one of our draft picks from the fifth round had even seen the field so far this season due to injury or just being buried on the depth chart. It sure would have been nice given our past rushing woes to have taken a latu , Murphy, or Dallas Turner, potentially after trading back with the team like the Raiders and building up additional draft capital. The fans of this team have been screaming for the last five years to take a edge rusher in the first round and instead we took skill positions. I would say Kyle Pitts has not necessarily worked out when we had the fourth overall picked that year. London has been very good and I don’t regret him now. I like Robinson now, but I would have rather had Jaylen Carterat the time. It just seems like we make strange moves when the entire fan base knows that there are significant problems that need to be addressed and have not been through the draft.
