Denver Broncos Rumored in Massive Trades

Denver Broncos Rumored in Massive Trades

For the first time in years, the Denver Broncos should be buyers at the NFL Trade Deadline. Sean Payton has completely transformed the culture of this team, and we now have a clear path to the playoffs. The same outlets that once said we had the worst roster in the NFL are now predicting us to finish 9-8. Personally, I think 9 wins is our floor. But even if we only win 9 games, that would give us a 40% chance to make the playoffs, so if things go our way in the AFC, we should be talking about a playoff push. This defense will travel well and play their best ball when it matters most.

If Bo Nix continues to develop and Sean Payton can open up more of the playbook for him, the Broncos will be a tough team to face come January! With the NFL Trade Deadline just 17 days away, the Broncos could look to add a different type of receiver, like Deandre Hopkins, Christian Kirk, or Diontae Johnson. Another position that could use a major upgrade is tight end. Greg Dulcich has been a healthy scratch for the past two weeks, which is disappointing. It seems like Sean Payton doesn’t trust his upside in the passing game due to his blocking struggles.

Would you like to see the Broncos make a trade to support Bo Nix’s development, or would you rather roll with this squad and focus on next year’s draft? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I just don't like any of the receivers mentioned. I say let these young guys improve and spend a first or second round next year on another receiver. I would take a TE though for a fourth or lower pick.

  2. other than this guy being a grifter. look bo kinda sucks. lets be honest here. if the best we can say is he isnt turning the ball over, well that leaves alot he is not getting done. poor foot work, poor reads, inaccuracy, run game going against a depleted defense. still fumballing. red zone offence is average. nix has not flashed any thing of greatness. so far his ceiling may be a serviceable qb in the nfl. been a bronco fan since 1974 and refuse to live with my head in the clouds because a grifter doesnt know any better

  3. I dont think theyre going to do any trades because theyre too cap strapped at the moment.
This season was supposed to be about development and continuity.
The line is much better than last season despite the injuries. The receiver corps is coming along in spurts.
The defensive front has heen lights outand rhe edge guys are getting himebwith consistency. The back end is solid and soeicla teams have been well above average.
I say hold your mid and maybe even pick up some deaft capitol if you find a cant pass opportunity.
Baron Browning, Jarret or Zach, and maybe even Courtland are hold some potential draft value.

  4. Sports are distinctly separated from the outside world. If you are wearing Bronco gear, I automatically like you. Makes zero sense, but it's just the way I operate😅

  5. I'd rather just get some value for Dulcich, Zach Wilson and others on the offense for teams willing to overpay. If we took on an expiring TE great, but I'd rather we have draft capital and use our cap space next year than try to win this year when it was just a development year anyways.

  6. I'll respectfully disagree, Ben. I don't think we need to go out and get some name (and aging) TE or WR. We have the different types of receivers on our roster in Franklin and Mims. We just need to use them. We need TEs that block as well as catch, and if you believe Sean Payton, there are still plans for Greg Dulcich. I don't think we are lacking in weapons. I mean, if you listen to fans, one week they say Javante is cooked, and the next they are praising him and saying our running game is "back." The issue is not personnel as much as it is usage of those guys. If Sean had come out in the Chargers game and gone deep like he did against Tampa Bay, I think we would have seen a completely different game. But we'll see. I personally think we have all the guys we need and we just need to set them loose. I mean, seriously. I heard today someone think Courtland should be traded because he didn't catch a pass on Thursday. It's insane what fans who know nothing about the inner working of a team are going to say. All I say is, Go Broncos.

  7. Broncos need to sell talet we dont use and develop the young guys( buy if there is a cheap a young TE or RB) It will put us in a better position this year and next next year. Bo needs to get a rhythm with his wide receivers and TEs. I know last week looked good but There are still concerns with the run game and the o line. This team with keep getting better as the year goes on but there will be young team hiccups along the way
Im very happy with the direction this team is heading but keeping my expectations in check haha

  8. Making a trade is not what's needed. Bo Nix just needs to improve. It's not like receivers are not open. Bo is struggling with his accuracy and footwork. Once that gets better then we talk about trades. I do think we should trade players we're not using that we need to resign.

  9. Our t.e room is awful but I think Bo is going to become more comfortable with the game and start hitting t.e’s as they are getting open. I’m more worried about our running back situation, I know everyone is high on Javonte right now but a game or two of good performance doesn’t change erase how bad he’s been last season and this season and now we’ve seen that estime drops the ball 1 out of every 5 times he touches the ball. We need a true powerhouse r.b 1 because I don’t believe in Javonte. I really hope I’m wrong though and that he really is back to being a great r.b, I really don’t believe it though and it is a more important position then t.e

  10. Mahomes without weapons is average as well…look at the numbers. It’s their defense that’s winning for KC now. We need to get weapons

  11. Nix has to improve this year before we give up draft capital to try to make the playoffs. Next year with more cap space, draft picks, and an experienced QB will be the time to make a serious bid for the playoffs.

  12. I am a 40 year Bronco’s fan, and I know it’s still early but so far Bo Nix has been a disappointment. He cannot move the ball down field vertically, has no velocity on his throws, and he has been surprisingly inaccurate! I know he’s only a rookie, and I was extremely happy and excited when we drafted him. I thought his play in preseason was encouraging, but He’s played in seven games now, and I’ve seen enough to know that he doesn’t have it. Bo has all the intangibles you want in a QB; Team guy, athleticism, guts, leadership, smarts and he’s not a prima-donna either. Unfortunately, I think he lacks overall talent and we should play Zack Wilson. If Zack Wilson can comprehend Sean’s offense, and his maturity kicks in, we could win. Zack is just more talented than Bo, and the switch needs to be made. If Zack doesn’t work out, we should have to consider drafting another quarterback or some sought of trade. Again, I really hope I’m wrong, and there is still a chance, but I just don’t see it.
