Right now I would prefer Vikings to win. Let them take the role of “Clear #1” so the rest of the division is tight, it’s a better position for us to break away to get #2.
I think Nate Davis mom passing is still affecting him and I can relate since my mom passed away in 2022 and although I'm better now than I was it was ROUGH on me mentally and physically for quite a while. Unfortunately, the world keeps on turning and you still have to be productive and responsible. I wish him all the best moving forward. 💯

I gotta say I love Herbert! He’s really good and I’d love to keep him around! That being said, Swift and Johnson are better so I think keeping him at 3 is the best. If we are able to get a good deal for him then I’d say trade him, otherwise there’s no downside in keeping him!
I don't think either player gets traded.
Nate Davis is expensive and hasn't played much better than a replacement. I don't know that he's worth the cap hit and draft capital to other teams.
If the bears are thinking about a playoff run this year, it doesn't make sense to trade herbert for a R6 or R7 pick. Yes he's RB3 but in today's NFL that still means he's an injury away from significant playing time. I don't see another team offering a pick that's worth losing that security blanket. Do we want Caleb Williams lining up with Travis Homer or a practice squad RB behind him in his rookie year with an already suspect OL? If we have real playoff hopes it would take an R4 minimum for me to like a herbert trade.
