Marco Kasper records his 1st NHL point in win in Nashville

The Nashville Predators can’t seem to snap their season opening losing streak, much to the Red Wings benefit. Detroit topples the Predators 5-2 in Nashville, thanks to a 37 save performance from Alex Lyon. Vladimir Tarasenko tied it early on a goal assisted by Marco Kasper, his 1st NHL point. Then Detroit converted on their first powerplay, something they have failed to do early in the season. This put the onus on the Predators who began to push hard. 5v5 began to heavily sway towards Nashville, as Detroit was on their heels. But thanks to timely scoring and solid goaltending Detroit survived. #LGRW

  1. I wanna hear from the guy who’s always trashing Lyon on here. What a game he played! Kasper looked great and Berger looked great playing alongside him. Still would like to see Johansson and/or Holl over Petry, and we need to do a better job breaking out and clearing our zone. We seem to get hemmed in so often. Either way, huge win. 2-3 looks so much better than 1-4. LGRW
