  1. Bucs beating the lions was a fluke we didn't stick to the game plan and paid for it were rightfully undefeated especially seeing their record is about to be significantly worse after they meet w lamar and king henry tonight

  2. If Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen or any of these other media darlings were putting up half the stats Goff has this year we would hear about it non stop every day. Put some fucking respect on Jared Goff’s name.

  3. Baker Mayfield is good but he's not Jared Goff good. Come on people, anyone can see that. That shouldn't have to have any kind of explanation attached to it. Of course he's league MVP if he finishes out the season playing like he is at the moment. Duh.

  4. Jared either is 30 or turning 30 this year … he's still young and if u look at Qbs in nfl history alot of them hit their stride at or after 30 years of age. He's hitting his sweet spot

  5. Tampa fans should agree with you, yes the Buccaneers came to town and won the game but even they have to realize and respect what Goff has been doing over the last 4 games it's been extraordinary . Baker has revived his career in Tampa much like Goff in Detroit he is a fighter tough , plays hard and is the leader of their team. He checks all the boxes now. His maturity forced through adversity is the way I put it. We will probably see them again in the post season and it will be a great game most likely . As a Lions fan Jared at least needs consideration but Lamar and Patrick and Josh are certainly in the running and Baker and Sam Darnold too why not still a lot of ball left to play things will be much clearer by game 17 for sure.

  6. Goff is disproving the criticisms that he 1) cannot throw under pressure and 2) cannot throw deep. He faced frequent pressure yesterday due to subpar play by Awosika, Glasgow, and Decker. He has shown with Jamo and Patrick that he can throw deep. He appears this year to be that cerebral QB who is performing like Detroit has an offensive coordinator on the field. Let's enjoy the this dying breed a pure pocket passer because the League is pivoting to "athletes" who can run, extend plays, and throw off-platform.

  7. Dan Campbell beat the lions in week two not Tampa by his mis management of time outs and time at halftime when they could have taken a chip shot field goal from the 8 yard line. And then could have kicked a field goal at the end of the game to tie the score Instead of being forced to go for a touchdown

  8. In last 4 weeks, Lions offensive TD'S: 18. Lions incompletions:16. That has NEVER happened before. And it's not dink and dunk. Lions have most explosive pass plays in NFL AND Goff averaging over 11 yards per attempt; nobody else in league over 9 yards. Goff is just 🔥🔥🔥 right now.

  9. The fact the rest of the networks haven't even mentioned Goff as an MVP candidate tells me all I need to know about their lack of knowledge in the league. They know 3 names: Mahomes, Allen, and LJ. Thats all they parrot, every day. They completely neglect the fact Goff has been a constant top 5 QB for over 2 years now.

  10. Anyone who looked at the stats knows Goff is excellent at picking up blitzes..yet the Vikes blitzed 55% of the time anyway…i dunno..i guess thats why they get paid a lot to coach🙄

  11. we gave them 14 points on a silver platter – lions never looked back from 14- 10 – this was not as close as the score – lions are clearly the better team even after we lost the probable defense player of the year – when we get defense end help we will be scary good – the only reason we have 1 loss is our offence is complicated – it took a little fine tuning – it is only getting better – your little bubble just burst – after that fumble td most teams would have folded on the road – we stopped you when we had to and drove down for the winning fg – this is what champions do – Superbowl champions

  12. The “real fans” hate Goff because the man is humble, his wife is a drop dead gorgeous 11, and humble. MCDC. I hoped he would be a good coach, he is. Add Shiela, Brad and Chris, they all elevate leadership and the team. Never dreamed the Lions could be steady and good. One Pride.

  13. We laid a egg in the red zone against Tampa. But they fixed it. You don’t go 1-7 in the red zone. The best thing that ever happened for Detroit is getting JG. He’s a bad man. He doesn’t look it but he is.

  14. Jared Goff been in total grit mode. Quickly down 10 points on Sunday after a messy start, and he quickly found grace and led the team to strike back with force.
