No Bregman unless Soto comes too and Vlad is extended first
Why not work on extending the third basemen we have, Vladdy.
If Vladdy doesn’t get extended I will not spend another cent with this team until Atkins and Shapiro are gone.
This is why the Jays will never win. Fans are ok with overpaying guys that aren’t worth the money. As long as they have had success in the past.
Bregman, Teo and Jansen then we have a good team and a fun team with players the city/country really like.
Anything less then that Jays probably aren’t competing for a playoff spot next year.

Didnt extend Teo and traded him away. Niw jays need a power bat in the outfield. Traded away Jansen instead of extending him, Jays need an iffensive catcher. Didnt extend Chapman, Jays need a 3rd baseman. Jays will soon need an allstar shortstop and franchise player at 1st base when Atkins fails to extend Bo and Vladdys contracts. Schapiro wanted continuation and he will get it. Someone needs to tell Schapiro continuing a failing concept is not a recipe for success.
Yayyy let's go and get George Springer 2.0. He's gonna be absolutely unproductive on this team and REALLY help us push to that tough to get 5th place spot we all know and love!
We have 4 players that can play 3rd base. Barger, Wagner, Clement and Orevis Martinez. Why would the Blue Jays spend 20-25 mil a year on Bregman. Admittedly he is a all star quality player. But we have the talent inside to cover that posistion and lots of talent to switch it around if one doesn't produce. Now we have Bo Bichette, who has stated that he does NOT plan on re-upping after 2025. Lets trade him for some prospects/ bullpen peices and sign Willy Adames for the 20 million a year and get both better defence and a bat that will produce consistently. Lets then use 20 million a year contract for Santander for his power. Both Adames and Santander are 29-30 yr olds. The 2 of them have a combined 76 Hrs on the season. I think they would impact this team VERY positively. And it would still leave room to extend Vladdy and pick up a free agent arm without breaking the bank.
Please Jays don't sign Bregman.
I don't trust anything those assholes say about adding anything to this team. The fake pursuit of Ohtani last year that they knew they would never win and they don't have anyone protecting Valldy in the lineup.

i'll take Eugenio Suarez for 3/33 mil @3B much cheaper and is 100 mil cheaper then Bregman.
I don't want to overpay for Bregman, I like Ernie Clement for a cheap price at 3B.
I am not against the idea of signing Alex Bregman, but I am worried how many good years he has left. I wouldn't want to overpay for him.
