New Orleans Saints Must Keep Spencer Rattler Clean, Pressure Justin Herbert

The New Orleans Saints are expected to start Spencer Rattler, assuming Derek Carr isn’t ready to go against the Los Angeles Chargers. Keeping Rattler clean, if he starts, will be pivotal for the Saints’ offense. With their offensive line returning to health, that should be an area in which they improve. Meanwhile, the Saints have to generate more pressure on defense in order to disrupt Justin Herbert and force some rare Chargers turnovers.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling has one immediate impact area in the passing game after Rashid Shaheed’s injury sidelines him for the season. Jonathan Abram was a surprise release in a flurry of Saints NFL Week 8 moves. But there may be a game afoot.
