  1. Unless the METS plan to make Pete Alonso a Team Mascot during the latter years of His Contract when His Skills have Diminished then all that matters is what Pete can accomplish on the Field. Everyone saw the latter years Diminished performances of 1st baseman Miguel Carberra and Joey Votto despite their value in the Clubhouse.

  2. So want Pete to be a lifelong Met, but I understand that this is his livelihood and baseball is a business. Hope the Mets make a competitive offer, and Pete weighs how much the majority of fans want him to stay. It's an embarrassment of riches to try and pick my favorite magical moment of 2024, but have to go with Pete's 3 run homer in Milwaukee.

  4. Pete said good luck on sterns taking questions on him. Look, I think NY media and fans are detrimental to our sports teams. The players today are soft minded. We need to rethink about how we constantly put pressure on these players. We applauded Lindor during his slump and he rewarded us with an mvp caliber season, just saying 🤷🏽‍♂️
