Deebo Samuel: Doing some running, sprinting conditioning. Kyle Shanahan has a chance to play. Deebo Samuel put up a couple shots on the 49ers locker room basketball hoop before practice. He’s not practicing today but is obviously doing much better following a bout with pneumonia and has a chance to play Sunday
Both Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey were seen at different times shooting hoops in the #49ers locker room today during the open session
The 49ers did not open the practice window for RB Christian McCaffrey (bilateral Achilles tendinitis) this week. He was observed rising a few inches off the ground while taking a handful of deep-range shots at the basketball hoop in the locker room.

Dre Greenlaw was doing w little light work on the sled as he has in the past. Still probably not back for multiple weeks

I doubt we’ll trade for Cooper Kupp. More realistic target is Kendrick Bourne.
They should’ve grabbed DeAndre Hopkins when they had a chance. Instead, they let the number one team we need to beat add him to their roster.

Our front office needs to wake up and quit sleeping on these players that were up for grabs, they let D-Hop sign with the team that can beat us without him but now they added him, I’m a faithful niner fan, but I think this season is almost over for us, there focus is on all the wrong stuff!!!!

We need too much. A kicker who's bright enough not to try to tackle runners, a special teams group that can stop punt/kickoff return runners, a defense that can tackle runners, a play calling tactician that can actually fool the defense, and, yes, great runners. Is CMC done? Seems like it. Deebo seems fragile. Too much to do to think an acquisition will solve much.
As bad as the Choirboys are, we are hurt and they may run over us like roadkill. Brock needs help. That means receivers that can get open. Lynch should have been on the phone Monday morning asking about D Hop. They gave a conditional 5th round pick for him! And we couldn't offer that? Hell, there is no guarantee that BA will walk without a friggin' limp let alone play in a couple years. If we plan to just sit everyone and "get 'em next year" I get it. Because we don't have a Super Bowl winning team at the moment with these injuries.
