  1. Even stellar goaltending can't save the punchless isles this season. A top team outshooting wings 28-10 would have scored three times on 28 shots and won the game 3-1.
    And i am early. I can't find three players playing well outside of 30 .940 sv.% going to waste with no goal support. No forward has more than 3 pts. and 2 g. 8 with 4 assts. leads isles in scoring. Not one g from d men thru 7 games. No g from bottom line 32, 26, 53, 12-whoever is put on line 4.
    Bottom line is isles need more from 13, 14, 29, 21, g from 8, and pp production. Unfortunately 13, 14, 29, 21, maybe 11 when returns are let down by no depth scoring whatsoever. This is a big problem that louzer gm can't identify or fix. Isles are just a shoot the puck and hope for a bounce or rebound goal offense. No creativity, no guys that can bury it, no speed that kills type of skill guys. Just a pathetic predictable forward group topped off with an aging d corps that even 30 can't save most times and roy line shuffling can't solve. A sell-off, prime draft picks, and young fast skill guys is needed. This could be the season isles tread playoff water for awhile then sink and bottom out. Stay tuned…
