Santi Aldama led Memphis with 27 points and five rebounds as Ja Morant (22 points, 10 assists) and Desmond Bane (24 points, four rebounds, four assists) added 46 points. Zach Edey totaled five points and five rebounds in just under 15 minutes of play prior to fouling out in his pro debut. Lauri Markkanen shot 9-15, including 4-7 from deep for 35 points and nine rebounds as Walker Kessler added 16 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks.
