    Hays is good, but he had no room on this team, when Bautista comes back we have a great RH setup man to compliment Cano. I'm very excited for the 2025 bullpen. I see Soto being a stud too.

  4. I think this was a good trade. Seranthony had some issues with giving up HRs but that seemed like more of a bad luck year with it as his career average HR/9 is way better than it was in 2024.

    The Hays trade stung but I think it was a smart move overall. Hays was one of our longer tenured players but was starting to get crept up on by the younger guys on the depth chart. Also, Hays has a pretty clear track record of fading in the second half (check his career 1st half vs 2nd half numbers). Hindsight is 20/20 of course, but I think that having Hays around wouldn’t have helped given what we know about the O’s post-break struggles this year and Hays track record of downturning as the year goes on.
