The defense being that good stat wise says something considering they played Greenbay, the falcons, the siants who scored 90 points the two weeks prior. And the Giants who were all within in 1 score of most of their games. Last year the problem was the defense, now that it's fixed the offense is the problem. It's new still, they are getting cooking. Every offense in the league has had a rocky start to the season honestly.

Let’s be real, Nick is an Eagle hater and it’s gotten worse since they went into KC last year and beat the Chiefs then Sirianni talked trash to Chiefs fans. So the hate is dialed up a notch and blinds him to reality. He has teams the Eagles beat ranked above them, it’s silly. They should be ranked above the Bears (whose schedule is softer than Charmin) for sure, right about where GB is.
Everyone is saying that us beating the Browns and Giants is insignificant but neither of those teams scored a touchdown on our defense. Meanwhile, they scored TDs on teams they played before us. The score against the Browns would have looked like the Giants game had our special teams done their job.

I'm not saying the Eagles are a great team because they aren't yet, but to say they're worse than the Niners and Bengals is disrespectful. The Niners are never gonna be healthy again this season therefore they will be trash all season, and the Bengals are just horrible period. The Eagles are at least pointing in the right direction and have shown that they can beat good teams. They beat the Packers and exposed the Saints for crying out loud.

Eagles do have a QB problem. I was watching all 22s during the bye and Hurts has clearly regressed in his footwork. Footwork is important for driving the ball as well passing in his progressions. At first I thought Hurts isn’t reading his progressions he actually is. The problem his footwork is so bad he takes an extra step or two and the open WR in his progressions is now covered because Hurts has to reset his feet. Hurts is not stepping correctly under center it’s clear he’s trying to Learn it on the fly. Hurts actually has a strong arm it’s shown in his deep ball accuracy the problem he doesn’t step properly into his throws which makes his passes kinda floaty in intermediate and short pass game which is susceptible to picks
