Resign Alonso.. Manea Iglesias and Winker.. Sign Corbin Burnes and add top quality bullpen arms… Mauricio and Acuna will be given every opportunity to prove themselves in 2025..

Signing Alonso to a long term deal is the dumbest thing Stearns can do.. Stop with the home grown garbage when he starts breaking down at 32 years old.
Tough decision. Pete Alonso in my opinion is an old free agent due to the Mets blocking his early play with Dominic Smith. Gotta get Soto and more contact guys. Love to have Alonso back…..but we cant make the same mistake keeping younger ballplayers down like we almost did with Vientos waiting for Bret Baty to deliver.
Gotta bring back Alonso , you know he’s good for 40 + dingers , can handle NY , and is defensively sound. Get Adames put him at 2b and bring back Manea and get Snell ! Easily said then done!! LGM!!

Ppl forget the hungry talent like Ronny Mauricio who’s ready to come up next year. Let Vientos play first. Give Baty a real shot. Acuna is on the rise. Thats the thing is we have options.
