  1. I think if things go well with Caruso as a player the team should extend him for a few seasons on a fair deal. After that when he's 35 or so? Assess and proceed prudently. If the team wins a 'chip during his playing time with them and he's interested once retired? Keep him close to the organization and consider him for an assistant coaching position of some kind. These guys are young and all won't remain with the team. But ideally some will spend the prime years of their career with Okc, and of course with all the picks Presti has acquired more young talent is on the way. It sounds like Caruso has earned the team's regard and respect for his basketball IQ and initiative beyond what he does on the court. Having a guy like that around off the court after wrapping up a successful playing career for the team can help solidify and continue a winning culture for years to come. Okc has strengthened it's culture and identity the last several seasons. This team is the result. Absolutely no reason it can't continue even if the winning stops. Its important to keep your foundation strong even if your house is shaky or torn down. Thunder have an opportunity to do that should they become champions in the next few seasons.

  2. The swarm of bees defense was incredible, 13 blocks, 9 steals, the offense was not at its best which is scary, room to grow. Denver looked out of shape and bench looks weak. With the deep bench, players better contribute for pt.
