  1. As a dodgers fan we ain’t winning not after the ohtani injury yes we still have great players like will smith betts and muncy but our odds of winning without him are very low now.

  2. I am very disappointed with the translation offered by the translator of Yamamoto. He often fails to translate in detail from English to Japanese. This time, he didn’t even summarise and asked Yamamoto a very simple question. Furthermore when he translated what Yamamoto said in Japanese to English, he simplified Yamamoto’s answer even more. This is the typical situation of “communication which got lost in translation”. The translator really needs to improve his skill, otherwise there will be more complaints.

  3. I'm sorry but having your 600 million dollar pitcher bat and then steal isn't smart. It's like driving without a license. Just a matter of time and shortsighted.

  4. The interpreter got the last question totally wrong, but… i guess he is not stealing Millions of Dollars???
The question was [Walking off the mound, the crowd was cheering and chanting your name. What was it like, that moment?] — Great Question!!! The interpreter asked in Japanese, just [How did you feel about pitching in front of such big crowd?] Yamamoto's response was upbeat, but the interpreter made it into a lame, boring, insipid comment.

  5. About time they actually live up to the billions spent on the team. It’s almost pathetic how long it has taken them to be in a position to win a legitimate World Series considering the money they spent over the past 10 years. The literally had to buy the best player ever just to win a World Series.
