  1. The only good thing about watching the pats right now is watching drake maye flash his potential. Glad the Celtics are back on, especially with the bruins looking a little shaky so far.

  2. I loved how in the 4th both Tatum & Brown attacked and got to the line. Celts were 13 of 13 in FTs in that quarter. Couple that with big shots from Holiday & Pritchard and they pulled it out. Oh and of course that sick block by White. Not thrilled with giving up almost 60 points in the paint to Detroit & not sure why Queta wasn’t brought in to help that issue but we won so🤷🏻‍♂️Thanks John.☘️🔒

  3. The entire preference for layups/skepticism of threes narrative is dumb. First, is for the reason you cited/what Joe said: a contested layup is a LOWER percentage shot than… several other shots. This is a fact, not some "nerd" thing invented for esoteric reasons. Meanwhile, people (still, in the year 2024) blathering about "too many threes" are doing so for two major reasons. 1) they are vets-turned-commentators who still think it's 1994 or 2) are fans. Fans who don't understand that, for a modern day NBA player, a wide-open three is the same percentage shot as you or me shooting at the block. There's a belief that threes are somehow inherently more based on luck and streakiness than other shots (they're not). So, the "you're taking too many threes" is ALWAYS stupid and wrong, unless it refers to the QUALITY of the threes being generated (open and where on the arc), AND the proven ability of those shooters. NO OTHER FACTOR MATTERS.

  4. John, I think like you said, if playing 8 guys/high minutes was a one-off, it's fine. I think Joe looked at it as "we HAVE TO win games against the Detroits of the NBA." So long as this doesn't happen more than once a week, I don't blame him.

  5. Nice try giving Jaylen some credit. He was pretty bad, John. He played selfish ball most of the night and was shooting terribly. I love Jaylen but he was baaaaaad last night. Credit for the free throws at the end of the game because had it been Jayson he might have missed lol.

  6. Tatum and Brown forgot how they played in playoffs, actually sharing the ball. White, Holiday and Pritchard should be running the offense. Tatum and Brown’s offense comes easier when playing off the ball instead of forcing it. It was great they actually played defense the last five minutes.

  7. What are you talking about about my man we're die hard ride or die Boston sports fans? The Patriots are not good but true fans don't ride the bandwagon just when our team is up?

I'll be tuning in the Pat's game as usual.

JB is going to be fine because he's a dog 🐕 folks need to pump their brakes about our MVP full stop!
