  1. You're right about the G League talent around Scottie right now but sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind when I see him get to the middle of the floor and refuse to even look at the rim we all saw how fluid his mid range looks in preseason

  2. Before watching, just want to say to the Barnes haters.

At this point in the season, with all the injuries, it's not about Scottie being the dominant scorer, it's about figuring out who can play with him later on, when everyone is healthy.

Darko just increased the difficulty for Scottie's ability to score, with less spacing, which allows him work on his play making to non-shooters. Again you're trying to see if guy like Ochai, Davion, Shead, Mogbo become better shooters.

When guys start to return, you'll see how much easier it'll be for both his scoring and play making. Defences will have to play him for both more consistently, and since he sees as a passer, it'll make scoring easier for him.

It's pretty simple if you think about it.

  3. What I noticed with this team the guys they played with too much hesitation I thought Darko had a strategy of not holding the ball more than 5 seconds but I never saw that one guy who is holding back this team is Jakob Poeltl slow clumsy and couldn’t catch a drop of rain drop on an umbrella if he was one in a rainstorm. I love what I see from Gradey Dick, Ochai Agbaji, Jonathan Mogbo, Davion Mitchell and Jamal Shead all these Kats are living up to the expectations and not to forget Jamison Battle. Scottie played with too much dribble and hesitations. He is waiting too long to decide on play.

  4. I tried to praise Gradey's defense for the steal on Anthony Edwards and the block in game 1 on Reddit and some dude brought up advanced stats to say he still sucks at defense. He literally tried to compare Gradey's 3 game sample size this year to his 60 game sample size last year.

  5. My frustrations with scottie revolve around his body language at times. Unless he's injured, he looks like he's coasting at times and that's tough to see from your franchise player. Also, I'd like to see mogbo get Fernando's minutes. I echo your sentiments on bruno from your last video. There's not much there and I don't think he's an nba player.

  6. I respect your knowledge of the game, I’d never argue with that, what makes me hesitant to watch your podcast with regularity, is that you, along with many others, continue to look at the glass as half empty. Please, let’s look positively to the future.
    Go Raptors Go

  7. "Sometimes it is worth the risk to try and make a difficult pass if it will give you a scoring opportunity that you would not have gotten otherwise."

    OK, Ross Jeffries. 🤭
