Houston Rockets Interested In A Jimmy Butler Trade

The Houston Rockets have reached rookie scale extensions with Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun, which impacts their cap space for the 2025 offseason. However, this hasn’t stopped Houston from eyeing potential star acquisitions in the future. According to Marc Stein, Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat is one such player on their radar. Butler, who didn’t secure an extension with the Heat this offseason, has a player option for next season, creating the possibility for free agency or even a trade scenario.

Rockets head coach Ime Udoka has expressed interest in adding experienced veterans to his young roster. Given Butler’s Houston roots, a homecoming might be appealing for both sides. Could we see Butler donning Rockets red in the near future?

  1. they need brooker and maybe butler..
the engine of the rockets is bari, tari, and alpi. than u have reed, cam, amen. that's the roster.
jalen is a one way run n gun player nothing else, his peak in march was able to defeat bottom teams in a period where those teams caclulated draft lottery positioning.
so to play jalens run n gun ball he must hit over 50% of hits shots to beat those.. the hype around that period of him.. reminds me of a shitcoin crypto hype

the engine is there, it's up to the rockets what they decide…

  2. Jabari Smith is going to get another twenty games or so before the team considers trading him. I’m not hopeful about him turning into a star player but he can still become consistent. Hell we gave other young players that much time we should give him some time, especially if he plays alongside Adams who has historically been that guy who can help others improve massively. If Jabari can’t improve next to Adams then he gotta go.
