  1. What is your take on Reed's role in the run defense monstrosity? Hall has been getting it done this season and, player to player value, Hall is pulling more weight. Reed did not need to do that on the field. I get that he was heated, but on the field is not the spot. The chemistry was jacked up as it was, and Hall was damn near in tears after the whole ordeal with a broken spirit. That wasn't the lift that they needed from their leader. Seems to me Reed should be looking in the mirror, vet or not, before throwing rocks. Yes, Hall made a STUPID mistake. A leader should have some composure on the field. If anything, wait till the sideline. Geno never calls out his people in public. He owns his own mistakes and those of his teammates in public, even when it's obvious the fault is not his own. It's heated in the trenches, but Reed isn't maximizing his potential as a leader.

  2. Reed and Hall issue was a small issue that most men understand. I found nothing wrong other then a teaching moment. Blessings Top Billin' for showing the entire moments of the issue. Hopefully this energy and passion will be used in motivation against the Rams next week. A difficult loss to digest, but your videos always provide the needed introspection and truth.

  3. Loving the Seahawks for me has always been about the culture. Compete, elevate, believe, unfortunately that culture seems to be missing. I hope they can build something which reflects the 12th man, because right now that man is dying. Thanks Murph for your optimism.

  4. This Team is new accross the board, we gonna go through it this year, and i have to admit, we stunk it up on Sundasy, Im still eating at GENO's! That Guy is Dope AF, he was sick in college and still a great QB now! We need an O line controlling the game managing the clock Murph, then the D isn't on the field all day gettin smoked, I know Macdonald is calling the D, but maybe Mike could use his own D coordinator, is Durde up for the job? I know Jon and Mike will get it pulled together and figured out! Seahawks fan since 1981!
    )))))Lets GO SEAHAWKS(((((

  5. Thank you Murphy for setting people straight, I've been a Seahawk fan since 1982. I believe we always struggle against the Bills. Keep on sharing your contents on the Hawks as I love how you break it down and keep it real. I love Gino as without him we would be 0 and 8. Keep it going Mahalo from 808 Hawks!!!🎉

  6. Great content and expert analysis as always Murph! Haters gonna hate, im grubbing @Geno's our team has problems but Geno ain't one of 'em! Haters gotta pull their heads outta their ass and stop blaming Geno for everything! With a whole new coaching staff and new system this year, we gonna have growing pains. Thank you Murph! I appreciate ya!

  7. 4-4 did three way split in NFC west but did anyone think before season this team would do better than 8-9 or 9-8 with a new coach. He has to keep cycling players until he gets dudes that fit scheme right? The QB is excelling in new system as well as receivers.

  8. Thanks Murf for continuing to cover the team despite some of your aforementioned reasons. I have one question for you, because I’ve never played football. When defending WR screens and some of those outside stretch type runs – are the corners / lbs supposed to attack the block before trying to make the tackle or are they trying to evade the block and get to the runner? I feel like from watching the game I’m seeing a lot of routing around blocks and then missing tackles but I’m not sure if this just happens or not.

  9. I love you Murf! We are 0-8 without Geno this year. On that play that he was tripped, look how far back the offensive line is when Geno hits the ground! The entire line got pushed back to Portland. It was like one of those scenes in an action movie where a bomb goes off and all the bodies are flying backwards. Can you please do a video on how bad this coaching staff is?

WTF are we doing on 2nd and 20 dropping Leo into coverage? We leave a DB to rush against a 330 lb offensive lineman who sends the DB to an early grave and we drop Leo Williams into coverage. On what planet is Leo EVER going to be able to cover Shakir? This zone blitz is 6th grade football stuff. Daniel Jones kept looking up and seeing Hall covering Slayton and I don't think he could believe what he was seeing. Every single defensive player on this team is playing way worse than they did last year. Oh, and if your looking for one player to highlight, Coby Bryant was brilliant yesterday. That dude never misses a tackle.

  10. Bro I just don’t understand how fans can be so impatient. We were really successful for a while with Pete. This is a new regime and new coach. Everyone needs to relax. And blaming Geno for a loss is so annoying. Even if it was it’s called a team for a reason you win together and lose together. Anyways thanks Murf 🤙🏽

  11. There’s nothing Geno can do to get any respect from the haters. He could win a Super Bowl with the Hawks and people would still say they need to move on from him. Absurd.

  12. The Seattle Seahawks: A Masterclass in Mediocrity

It’s hard to imagine a professional football team consistently underperforming while their fans, loyal to a fault, keep showing up every week, hoping for a miracle that never comes. Enter the Seattle Seahawks. Week after week, year after year, they deliver lackluster performances that serve only to remind us of how dangerously comfortable they’ve become with mediocrity. What was once a promising organization with a vibrant culture now seems devoid of motivation, bogged down by complacency and uninspired leadership.

Football isn’t just about scores or records—it’s about entertainment and uplifting the spirits of the fans who bleed for their team. The purpose of any sports organization, including the Seahawks, is to provide value beyond the field: boosting morale, fostering motivation, and giving fans a reason to believe in something larger than themselves. Yet, the Seahawks have continuously dropped the ball, not just on the field but in living up to this fundamental duty. Each disappointing loss chips away at the emotional investment fans pour into the franchise, and each half-hearted effort serves as a slap in the face to those who keep showing up, hoping for something different.

The problem isn’t just the players; it starts at the top. Weak, unmotivated leadership has created a culture that rewards mediocrity, allowing the team to coast by without accountability. Coaches who refuse to adapt, questionable roster decisions, and a complete failure to develop and inspire players are glaring symptoms of a larger problem: the absence of hunger. A team that once boasted a “win at all costs” mentality now seems content to drift, riding the coattails of past glory.

Worse still is the fanbase’s willingness to forgive and forget. The “12th Man” is lauded as one of the most passionate fanbases in the NFL, but their unwavering loyalty is also part of the problem. When mediocrity is met with cheers and blind optimism, it becomes the status quo. Teams need to know that failure comes with consequences, but instead, the Seahawks get a free pass, season after season. Why change when your fans will keep cheering no matter how embarrassing the losses get? This toxic cocktail of poor leadership and a forgiving fanbase sets the perfect stage for incompetence to flourish unchecked.

The Seahawks need to wake up. Their fans deserve better than half-hearted efforts and empty promises. If they can’t step up and embrace their responsibility to provide both entertainment and inspiration, it’s time to reevaluate their place in professional sports. Because, in the end, football isn’t just about winning games—it’s about giving people hope. And right now, the Seattle Seahawks are failing miserably at both.

  13. The Hawks looked like they were in a submarine. Looking for the titanic in a submarine steered by Playstation controllers. They straight up imploded…………… lol Go Hawks!!!!!!

  14. Hey Murf, I actually just left this question on the previous video, but here goes. BEFORE the Buffalo game, I wanted to ask how you think Connor Williams is doing. He obviously had those 2 HORRIBLE plays in the red zone. But overall, what have you thought of him so far?

  15. Murph you think they should try giving Kenny a chance if k9 and Zach can’t get something going. Never know a change in style and run can help. I’ve seen every time Kenny comes in he’s gotten 3-8 yard a run or someone holds on a nice big run and it gets called back when k9 or zach can’t get something going he’s come in first play gotten good yardage

  16. I don't think enough people realize Seattle has a bottom 5 o-line, and Mike jerrell was a practice squad player for a reason. The good news is that Abe Lucas and George Fant are back at practice. Maybe if they get both back, they can move Fant to tomlinson's spot. Before any talk shit about Macdonald, Pete carroll's record in his first season in Seattle was 7-9.

  17. Thank you for teaching. As a Personal Trainer and a HUGE Seahawks fan, I want to learn so that I can coach players and clients better on Technique. Plus I want to understand the game better. It drives me insane that "fans" who have never played or done ANYTHING physical in their lives think they know! Where is the respect for an expert like yourself! I appreciate your analysis and I learn from it every week! Thank you!

  18. The bills are better than the 49ers, the lions and practically anyone else. I've heard it said that Kansas is there kryptonite… But I can see them beating that team on any given Sunday…. The hawks are probably not going to be contenders this year…. But there's next year,, and it will come together…. That's my opinion.

  19. I'll admit i jumped too quick but let's face it, game was over. I was and am a Geno (correct spelling) supporter. Just calling a bad day what it was. Anyway, this clown appreciate u and the time and effort u put into this channel

  20. damn. — that was hard to watch but because you can see the potential and then bam, but I don't really think we have the o-line to be leaning into screen plays with our line . I don't understand why they keep trying to put our weakest player grouping against one of the best fronts in the Bills D
I can see what peaks of them looking good but they are so inconsistent

  21. People seem to forget that anytime you bring in a whole new staff and start rebuilding that the team has growing pains. Even back in the Carroll days it took 2-3 years to find their stride. Be patient and let it work out, this team can truly be something great if they just iron out some creases (O-line specifically). Much of the issues can be resolved during this season (meaning they can get better as the season goes on) and by next season they'll be in a great position to be even better than that

  22. Thanks for the coverage, Murf. There is plenty of blame to be spread around after that performance. New coaching staff, so not surprising to have an up and down season. Let's hope we see some foundation level building going forward. Not seeing that right now.

  23. Confirmed, Geno haters are out from under their blankeys.
99 Toohil is 6'5" and looks like he can hop too. No fault accident, don't raise Geno's rates!
    TY Murf.
