  1. The pundits are just mad that the bengals being their SB favorites this season looks so awful. Joe gets a pass for a fluke run in 2021 which was more of his defense and run game.

  2. What I've learned over the last ~4 months is how little Bengals/NFL fans know about money in the NFL. Chase asked for a new deal early. That is a very team friendly thing to do. The ask is for an extension to his existing deal. It wouldn't overwrite his rookie contract. That's not even possible. The only reason Chase hasn't been paid is because the owner has to put the money for the new contract in escrow before the contract can be signed. The Bengals have the poorest owner in the NFL. He will have to wait until at least the next off-season before he has the money. As a result, the price for Chase's contract will go up, and the Bengals are going to have to pay more money for waiting. I have no idea how the Bengals could ever build a dynasty with their current owner/financial situation. It has nothing to do with some 200IQ cap management situation. They're just poor. There was a delay with Burrow's deal for the same reason.

  3. Nah wtf is this, other high paid QBs don’t get a pass like this even when their rosters have holes. The bias towards some of these QBs is ridiculous

  4. Do your homework on the Bengals front office. They let guys walk and won’t pay guys. Let Jessie bates walk, DJ reader, Joe mixon, Von Bell(he’s back, gone a year) Mike Brown is a Jerry jones. Bengals can win with him still being the owner

  5. Let me guess…..Burrow turns the ball over and has all his weapons but he’s not getting the same blame as Lamar, Purdy, Allen, or others 😆😆😆

  6. Could there possibly be a more moronic take on a team suffering from a myopic cheapskate owner and a short term thinking gm who can't find his reading glasses? The fix needed is one of vision: they don't know what they don't know.

  7. A hard Bengals Fan here, I cant agree more, it´s frustraiting see how cheap the ownership is, and how they continue to get rid of great players that they developed and bringing cheaper players both in money and quality… And if you see Burrow play, it continues to play amazing!

  8. Man y'all talk football so much you think that you would actually know what y'all are talking about and not be completely clueless about a subject you ramble about daily 😂

  9. The “cheap” accusation is LAZY. Just going with the 1990s narrative. Fact is, in 2021 Cincy went out and bought a defense. They spent money. In 2022 they went out and bought a new OL (3 players).

What went wrong was not keeping key defenders in 2023. Then in 2024 they let Mixon go for a lesser RB. But they did get a quality TE. And their draft picks have not hit, they are not replacing talent for talent.
And that includes losing Callahan as OC.

Has Cincy made some bad choices recently. OH YES. But to just paint them as “cheap” like it was 1996 is flat wrong.

As columnist Paul Dougherty once said, “Cincy does spend, they just don’t spend WELL.”
