With how they have played in this first half i believe they are just willing the 3-peat
I heard if Uche leaves after this season, we will get a compensatory pick in the sixth (the same round we gave up to get him). We just have to wait a year.
Id rather play teams full strength in regular season and get hardened for the playoffs
A good, affordable cornerback option for the Kansas City Chiefs could be Greg Newsome from the Cleveland Browns. Newsome, a former first-round pick, is on his rookie contract, which makes him a more affordable choice. Cleveland’s season performance and potential salary cap concerns might lead them to trade young talent like Newsome. As a consistent starter with proven ability in coverage, he could provide the Chiefs with much-needed depth and skill in their secondary  .
The Chiefs are likely interested in Newsome due to their current secondary challenges. Newsome has shown solid performance, and Kansas City could be an ideal place for him to further develop and contribute, especially considering they lack an experienced leader after L’Jarius Sneed’s departure. Other teams, such as the Ravens, might also pursue Newsome, so a timely offer could benefit the Chiefs’ playoff aspirations.
