What OKC Thunder are MISSING to compete for an NBA championship | Draymond Green Show

Draymond Green tells Baron Davis why he thinks Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder don’t have the seasoned demeanor an NBA contender needs to instill fear in their opponents, even with OKC being one of only three teams left undefeated this year along with the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers.

  1. This Is What I Hate About The New Age Player-Podcast Eraā€¦ Thereā€™s No Reason Why Dray Should Be Giving This Typa Game To His Competitors When Their Still Competing

This The Typa Shit You Supposed To Share In Reflection When Youā€™re Retiredā€¦ Active Athletes Shouldnā€™t Be Publicly Doing This About The Competition

  2. So when the Warriors were shimmying and waving towels after every other Steph 3 itā€™s cool but a postgame interview with teammates is a problem? I rather my team play around after the game instead of during the gameā€¦just me šŸ¤·šŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļø

  3. Draymond doesnā€™t understand that Okc is not just ā€œgoofin offā€ during interviews. They are very mature without ego. Heā€™s hating on Okcā€™s authentic chemistry. Okcā€™s work stands for its self. You donā€™t win 57 games despite being one of the youngest teams in the league by ā€œjokesā€. This year they will be even better when they are healthy.

  4. So Draymond has said some dumb stuff over the years but this takes the cake šŸ˜‚ Iā€™m bias becuz OKC my team but the one thing thatā€™s been said about OkC for over 2 years now is they are a very mature and serious group of guys from top to bottom. Having your star players show love to the guys who donā€™t always get the spotlight in the postgame and linking that to readiness is maybe the dumbest argument Iā€™ve ever heard from a pro basketball player. When OKC smokes yā€™all by 20 maybe then you will think they ready?šŸ˜‚

  5. No one has to do things the way you want it done Techmond. Weā€™ve been trying to get you to stop playing dirty and leading the league in technical fouls for years, but somehow youā€™re maturity just wonā€™t allow you to figure it out!

  6. Respect to BD and heā€™s entitled to his own opinion but he ainā€™t ever win shit to say why OKC needs to win. Theyā€™re not immature cuz of the interviews it just shows the camaraderie and the bond they have

  7. Itā€™s like these two havenā€™t watched a single OKC game but want to spout out anyway. Itā€™s like Draymond didnā€™t even watch the OKC games that he was a part of last season. The Warriors got humiliated by OKC last season. Maybe thatā€™s the reason for the stupid take.

  8. To a certain extent what he's saying is correct shai can still show the other guys love but the relationship needs to be altered slightly. I hope shai sees this interview.

  9. 5:27 thatā€™s fucking cap everytime down the stretch they looking for sga none of them play hero ball they look for the best player , last year the had a terrible match up giddy couldnā€™t shoot the ball they literally left him wide open it was so bad they put Isiah Joe in the starting line up in the middle of the playoffs did they not watch the games last season !

  10. Rookie mistake from Draymond. What is perceived as silly is actually called a team who is all bought into an unselfish system and itā€™s a beautiful thing. When they have the best record in NBA history, that puts teams in check for sure.

  11. Draymond the only one to say this.. bahaha dude is and always has been the jealous type. Bro chill and enjoy this dynasty that Sam presti and OKC is cooking

  12. This the most old head hating shit ever, no high level thinking just post game interview analysis.

Trust me dray, nobody been looking forward to guarding Shai since 2022. Team full of dogs, ainā€™t no need to transfer anything ā€¦ them barks at the end of the game ainā€™t for nothing.

  13. Most steals and blocks as a team To start a regular season in a 4 game strech in the history of the game and they not instilling fear after being the youngest 1st seed? Come on Dray. I expected different insight coming from a 4 time champ!! You can't be talking about the same media that rarely ever covers the team or let alone get the players names confused whenever OKC does have segmants and Now all the sudden they gotta comform? They simply doing it their way just how yall did it yalls way… "jump shooting teams dont win".. Shai just came off a 30 ppg season shooing 55%. Last guard to even have a similar feat is your teammate who i know for a fact has heard it all. Yall even said "What can they say now after ring #4 šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  14. Iā€™m also assuming kicking people in the nuts and getting ejected from games (especially during the finals) is a level of maturity and intensity these young Thunder are missing.

  15. For the OKC fans, ya'll won 1 series the first year you broke into the playoffs. GSW and OKC won the same amount of series in 2 years. Ya'll need to start winning at least WCF to be talking with that much ego.

Ya'll the 1st round champions for now lmao

  16. Respectfully, this is some bullshit. GSW danced, taunted, and gestured on the court for years during the actual games, but because them young boys wanna show their solidarity with each other and include their teammates in their POST-game interviews, theyā€™re immature? Also I fuck with, BD but BD has never won a ring before and for Draymond, on every championship team heā€™s been on Draymond has been at most, the 4th most important player on the team (Curry/Klay/Iggy, Curry/Klay/KD, Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Poole) he has never had the responsibility of having the team on his back and willing them to a championship. Wtf does he know about leading a team to victory? Also the only reason SGA isnā€™t a superstar yet, because ESPN and most national sports network, only started paying attention to the Thunder at the end of the season last year

  17. dumb af to think the entire team bonding is gonna make them worse. the stars sharing the spotlight and interviews with role players isnt gonna make them soft its gonna show they respect each other and it shows in the games.
