  2. I agree with everything you both are awesome but I'm alot hire than both on Inglesia impact .I think he is a huge impact player for us.He doesn't have alot of wear on him so age is irelevant .He has alot of juice left and signing him is very important to chemistry too.Everything else you both have my same thoughs nice job ladies.

  3. Hello to you, beautiful young ladies. Baseball is a team sport, not an individual sport. That's why I think that thode who want STEVE COHEN to spend 500 or 600 million dollats in SOTO are off track. All that money that were to be given to SOTO could be spent to resihn ALONSO, sign CORBIN BURNES and ANTHONY SANTANDER who's a pretty good free agent power hitting outfielde abd a reliever. Then they could trade for GARRET CROCHET anf BRENT ROOKER who hit .291, 40hrs and over 100 rbis, plays the outfield and could DH. They should resign SEVERINO and MANAEA. Also an outside chance to resign QUINTANA who was pretty good during the stretch drive and post season. YOU ARE DEAD WRONG ABOUT ALONSO'S DEFENSE. HE GREATLY IMPROVED SAVING THE REST OF THE INFIELD LOTS OF ERRORS. RESIGN JOSE IGLESIAS. AS FOR BRET BATY, HE HAS PROVEN TO BE A VERY GOOD…. AAA PLAYER WHO COULD BE USED IN A TRADE.

  4. 13 Positions on hitter roster:
2- C Alvarez —> add a veteran backup to help Alvarez develop
    1- 3B Vientos
    1- SS Lindor
    2- 2B McNeil, Iglesias
    1- 1B Alonso(or replacement)
    2- RF Marte, Winker
2- CF Taylor(backup) —> add power bat starter
    1- LF Nimmo
1- DH —> trade for Rooker

  5. 13 Positions on pitching roster:
5- Starters: Senga/Peterson/Butto/2 Free Agents(Crochet, Burnes, Manaea, Cole, Quintana) or Sproat/Tidwell
1- Swing/Long man: Lucchesi or Megill
4- Middle relief: Garrett/3 Free agents and/or AAA relievers
    2- 8th inning: Nunez, Stanek
    1- Closer: Diaz
    Non-tender: Blackburn, Maton

  6. I haven't been really rooting for a specific team, just good ball, but man, the actions of some of these yankees fans lately are making it hard not to flat out root for the dodgers. The desperation is oozing off them …

  7. I have my current desired roster list pinned on my X profile, if anyone wants to look, but out of Bader, Winker & Taylor, I would like to see TT come back, even though at first I was for Bader and I get why Mets fans want the noise maker Winker back, but I would prefer to have the quiet guy TT than the noise maker Winker, because TT has great skills in the outfield more compatible to Bader, where Winker is not even close, although he is a little better hitter. I just rather have our bench players be better in defense and that's why I also choose Iggy as the infield bench player I would most like to see return next year. In addition to the great vibes and impact he's had on other players… I could go on, but I won't stop, so I will end here. LGM!!

  8. I think Stearns isnโ€™t gonna keep a lotta guys from 2024 I think he likes to sign big pieces that will become core members while adding underrated gems I think each year will always be a different group but the Mets will sign young studs that are on the market to add to the โ€œCoreโ€

  9. I have zero interest in the Mets. That being said as an outsider Mets should look at the margins. I get that the owner has almost unlimited funds but instead of looking for homeruns in free agency, getting scrappy, glue guys could really help. Obviously another top level starting pitcher would help. Rooting for you ladies.

  10. You root for The Dodgers…because of you ladies, I now root for The Metropolitans! Let's take shots to celebrate a game 5 win tonight for The World Series Champions!

  11. Definitely need a "why am i a baseball fan" pod!! (everyone knows the pain of Octobar baseball, you know, that moment your team loses and you're like… Fuck this sport)! Great work! ๐Ÿ‘

  12. with the giants rebuilding, with many other high revenue teams maxed out (or close), the large number of top free agents, collapse in tv revenue (for many teams), how poorly long-term contracts have aged (which i think is relatively new), with owners listening to front office more b/c of analytics (my guess), i think weโ€™re going to see much lower numbers than what weโ€™re used to seeing.

  13. Naming the podcast "Why am I a Mets Fan?" is a self-fulfilling prophecy. I wanted to sound spooky because tomorrow is All Hallows Eve. On a personal note, as a child I dressed up as Dave Kingman for Halloween and nobody got it. Sorry ladies, back to baseball, historically, and as recently as the last game, the behavior of Yankee fans explains why we're Mets fans. They (as Seinfeld once elaborated "Who are they?") don't call that area The Bronx Zoo for nothing, which has nothing to do with incarcerated animals. The behavior of the Yankee fans once again proves why they are, well, Yankee fans. As far as the offseason, the money coming off the CBT allows for a variety of possibilities regarding roster construction. Using history as a guide, in this case, recent history, David Stearns prefers a roster with speed, athleticism, and flexibility with an emphasis on a strong pitching staff built from the bullpen out. This roster does not yet reflect that vision. Stearns should address pitching ahead of anything else, and yes, we will be in, HEAVILY, on Soto. I would personally love to see Roki Sasaki in our rotation next season, but that's me.

  14. Since you mentioned Scherzer, Verlander and other players still being paid by the Mets, you should know that every team has those in their payroll. On the flipside, it would be interesting to know if the Mets have players who are being paid other teams.

  15. I hope you see this post. Will check to see your next podcast. Los Angeles Dodgers World Champions. How they beat the Yankees so phenomenal. Hope the two of you will enjoy beating the Yankees. Take care Mets fans.
