  3. How to know Montreal is still in a rebuild look at how much they spend on goalies… We like Monty and Primeau but we know we will not be winning a round with either of them. They aren't bad mind you but they are not elite caliber either as much as we want them to be. It kind of the GM's way to sabotage the standing to make sure we get high draft picks

  4. Let's see what primeau does his next couple of starts, if he stinks it up , call up dobes and give him some starts . Monty like the rest of the habs is wildly inconsistent , I think st.louis needs a calming presence on the bench gallant as an assistant coach could be good

  5. We can't blame this all on Monty. Let's not forget some of the awesome games he played before the two big losses. He was top ranked in the likely goal saves. I really want him to succeed. The blue line isn't helping. I knew they would regret trading Kovacevic.

  7. He's not a number 1, he has never won more than 3 games in a row, he loses the puck way too often, rebound control is an issue, he get's beat by the high corner shot more than any number 1 goaltender in the NHL, he won't play for team Canada, even if they are desperate. Their number 1 before the end of the year is playing in Laval.

  11. I would point the blame on d-zone play before I point it towards goaltending .
    Besides Evans and Suzuki at least as far as forwards are concerned the rest of them look pretty overwhelmed in their own end .
    D-squad seems to fall apart without Guhle … Matheson has been consitently horrible for the past two seasons . At least the young guys have the excuse of being inexperienced .
