  1. Glad his issue can be discovered this early so he can adjust to this before he gets older. There is still long road ahead as he is still young so i will get him to minor if he does not need to get into the waiver wire for redevelopment purpose. Dont want to see him to become another Mike DiPietro.

  2. honestly I've been saying this since the end of the playoffs as much as I loved him for keeping us in against Edmonton and sealing the Nashville serious with a shutout we cant rely on him in the NHL yet make a trade for like a James Reimer type of player to give Demko more time to fully heal up and send arty down to the AHL so that he can learn and work through the issues that he's been having especially the long shot floaters we need to let him develop and not just through all this pressure on a 23 year old goalie

  3. I keep hearing people say 'it's not his fault but we need a save' in this fanbase. You guys should work in middle management, you would fit right in.

  4. Canucks offense didn't show up that night. Silovs is ranked top 3 (every goalie that played at least 1 game) for the lowest SV% in the league this season.

  5. This whole long shots thing is very concerning. How do you get through multiple years of pro hockey without someone saying woah you have to do a better of tracking the puck on long shots. The fact the issue is still so pronounced worries me. I'd think that a good amount of effort must have already gone into solving this fundamental flaw with minimal results.

  6. Are we going to blame that all on Silovs? The forwards were awful in that game the only forward checking (and not over shooting) was Hoglander and he hardly played. Boeser was okay and Hughes was fine on defense but the forwards didn't check at all in this game. They didn't press the opposing D in their defensive zone. All they did was stack the box, let the other team pass it wherever they felt like, and screen their own goalie… yes Silovs was bad but the team made it worse on him

  7. Ight bro enough rage bait put demko in the game would’ve been 3-0 at best every line played poor some worse than others arty can’t play offense and defense for us

  8. Who said that? Like maybe 4 people and it was never a serious comment when they did.

Silovs clearly needs to go get some games in Abby. I think Tolopilo should have a look. He's the highest paid active goaltender on the NHL payroll btw all.

  9. I agree even I wasn't excusing him most of the goals came on 2 on 1 and our team gave it away he hasn't played in like 2 weeks.
I did blame the team played poorly most of them and they all said it and took accountability that it wasn't Silvos fault he was left out to dry with hardly any support besides the puck deflecting then going in the net as well.
I was on Tocchet when he also said it was not Silvos fault but people were quick to judge the goalie when it was 6-0 .

  10. i was one of the unwashed masses saying arty looked like 1A stopper. he'll come back but he's looking his age this year. patera just got a shutout 2 days ago. this team has several alarm bell issues. 11.6, the 3rd pairing, debrusk and hronek for starters.
