  1. I said it before… I'll say it again. Many Met fans tried to warn Yankee fans about the LA train headed their way. But they were too busy being over confident and making fun of us and the Mets for losing in the NLCS. They stood pat on the tracks and got ran over. It's hard to feel bad for them outside of people like Jimmy and Jake from Jomboy who were optimistic, but rational. Jimmy said it best, the Yankees lose focus very easily. They get to a point where they get comfortable and stop locking it in and it's happened for years. Mets and Yankees have both had massive cultural issues. Mets are starting to turn it around, though.

I will say this… if the Mets sign Soto… he needs to spend a solid month and change working on his routes to the baseball before he even shows up to spring training. This is my biggest concern with Soto and always has been. His bat can't be denied, but his defense… Can't have the dude blowing 1 run games because he doesn't understand how to cut off a baseball. If he comes over to our side he NEEDS to work on his defense every day. I'm not worried about Vientos because he has Lindor, but Soto has to work with the coaches, Taylor, and Nimmo to get better.

  2. What do you think about a Noah Syndergaard reunion? Sign him to the minors and depending on progression he can be a second half arm. If we can resign Pete, sign Soto, Manaea, Sevy and another good arm or two we can make some noise.

  3. The Mets must win the division next year, is been too long, playing all these must win games, it would be nice to have it a little bit easier like the Yankees did

  4. The reapect i have for the Dodgers is that they didnt lay down in the games even when they were down, they, like the Mets keep playing and try to end the game as soon as possible

  5. Strickout pitch was as nasty as it comes. Fox never showed a replay instead reaction seriously don't understand the game but that was the game right. Deflated their spirit

  6. Happy Halloween!!! The Scary thing is Mookie Wilson & Mookie Betts involved in the strangest 1st base blunders in playoff history with ground balls with eyes. Spooky or should I say Moooooky ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐ŸŽƒ*%

  7. Im still wondering could the mets have beaten the dodgers?? Its still hard to believe. I still want to side on the fact that MLB wanted dodgers and yankees in the WS. ๐Ÿ™
ITs so coincidental that Ohtani sponsors was all over the place so crazy. Beats headphones sponsor? where the heck did that come from? MLB was marketing Ohtani sooo heavily.

  8. There's a strategy to signing free agents that hopefully the Mets have learned from. Sit back and see let the other teams establish the price then make your move. There's no reason to make an initial offer. Let's see how this plays out.

  9. I just went through the archives to see what fans were thinking at the end of the 2021 and 22 seasons. At the end of 2021, a lot of fans wanted the Mets to sign Javy Baez. A certain someone even suggested the Mets could have a 2022 infield of Baez, Lindor and Carlos Correa. We all know what happened to Baez. It's a shame that we had to give up a top prospect to get him. Correa looks like he had a bounce-back season, but he also only played 86 games.

  10. There were fans who really wanted the Mets to sign Kris Bryant to play third base. Since signing his big contract with Colorado, He's been unable to stay on the field. Everyone wants the Mets to go all in on Soto. His contract will be 3X what Correa or Bryant got and you'll be paying him for at least 12 years. That's too much of a risk.
