Can’t really fix old and slow guys plus being aweful on special teams is killer.
You can’t make chicken soup out of chicken 💩.
This won’t change until they fire Lou. Ownership has zero choice but to can this guy who clearly can’t even run a peewee team
This team is too comfortable. They don't fear for their jobs. Why the PP and PK coaches are not fired yet is evidence of that … Lou brings MM back instead of promoting youth? Another indicator … They need a new voice in that room, perhaps Anders does a JT and relinquishes the "C" to another voice … something has to give … this is painful to watch.
here is a fundamental fact. As we age in many many individuals ,we just lose our physical AND MENTAL abilities. Lamoriello is just not as sharp both with analytics and instincts as he once was. Even the great bill torrey ,moved into A ADVISORY POSITION as he was getting up there in age. You just cant have lamoriello at 82 manage our club.When you become 80 years of age at that point your rolling the dice and thats a gamble i just would not take. Im 51 years old and i witnessed the greatest dynasty in the history of professional sports. As a result i dont have patience for utter failure like i have seen post dynasty i am FURIOUS with the state of our team ….FURIOUS
why can't you guys get it through your heads….We suck, we are garbage, this is no surprise. The team is old, the star players (except Brazal) are old and past their primes!!!! If we don't start trading these guys, they show how much they care about the fans and the product they are putting out there.

$15 Lowers coming up. At least we’ll get to see some good teams come through.
The team is not fast in a speed driven league. Gretzky said last season that every player in the league is a better skater than he was.
I’ve seen some people say bother Lou and Roy need to go. That’s just not right. You’d need Al Arbour to make this roster a contender. Some people try to defend Lou and he IS one of the better GMs in franchise history, but that’s not saying much. He will NOT do what he has to and sell at the deadline. Any competent GM can see that if you start a retool now the isles could be competitive again next year. But Lou is too set in his ways, knowing he’s getting older.
My biggest worry is that Lou will try to put a band aid on this. Having a rotten season with Nelson and Palmeri on expiring contracts is exactly what the doctor ordered. We can probably also get something for Pageau at the deadline. Please fire Lou before he does something stupid!!
Lou has got to be FIRED !!!
Does Lou know he can make deals with other clubs than the ones he has been at already?
People sound smart when they talk like Lou is the one that is playing.
