  2. J1Q: DK, with the Canadiens, Islanders, Canes, and Capitals coming up, is it too morbid to suggest they need to win every one of those games (or at least get a point in each)?

  3. Ned looked great, what's the likelihood that he stays even remotely close to this form? It was good to see that he was THAT solid whilst facing grade-A chances, at the hands of this teams defense… Which looked better, with very much improved rotation tonight; but how long will THEY keep that up? Furthermore, how much (or little) did we actually see in regards to this said "improved" team defense, as the nature of this game was a flat-out run-and-gun between two teams who trusted their goaltending beyond belief? How does this hold up against a trapping team? That being said, I was definitely happy with the shots on goal numbers, but didn't actually look at ANA shot attempts, and it seemed like they were doing a lot more than the totals suggested. Quite a few posts and wide shots that could have definitely resulted in 2-4 more goals for the bad guys.

    Two things I'd like to see with this team… NOT avoiding hits that are available and taking guys out of plays…. and just shooting the GD puck..

    I saw quite a few plays tonight that gave me flashbacks of Corporal Upham in Saving Private Ryan… Guys going out of their way, to avoid contact, only to find the guy they chose not to put on their tuchus being involved in a potential play to unfold…. I'm not suggesting this team tries to go straight broad street, but simply maybe just not giving snow showers opposing players' shin pads and letting them walk around you, letting them jump into a play…

  4. All right, you guys let’s listen up. We won the game yesterday.. we win one today that’s two in a row. We win one tomorrow. That’s called a winning streak… it has happened before… so LETS SEE SOME HUSTLE & GET AFTER IT OUT THERE! I have a feeling things are about to change!- Lou Brown Sorry, my favorite line from the movie Major league just seemed like it made sense here 💁🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️😆

  5. Quityerbitchin'! They needed this win. They played better. They took shots. Sid was back. Ned was good. Tanger made like 3 saves. (I know: it's raining somewhere. Letang's fault.) C'mon guys: lighten up. Try enjoying the good once in awhile.

  6. Hey DK, J1Q? Do you think that last night’s overtime goal should be the goal they use to carve Sid’s statue? That was one of the prettiest goals I have ever seen. It was like a cat playing with a mouse before putting it out of its misery!
