a great party to his music done unmentionables to his music we love his music Big Boy joins us this morning what’s up big boy how we doing what’s up oh man we doing good man how you doing bro dude you look great we’re all so excited to see you I don’t even need to hesitate right now now you got the haton you got a first place team in the NFC South big boy with all the things you got going on how you feeling about your 2024 Falcons and it feels great man I mean the city is on fire right now man I mean we’re proud of them boys and they they they locked in yeah they are yeah they are locked in uh and a big part of the Falcons success uh this year has to be your new quarterback Kur cousins I mean what has it been like watching him on the field the fans and how they’re reacting to him and how do you think he’s acclimating to Atlanta because he seems to have that uh eight toown Swag yeah I mean like you said man he just walked in the Trap and took over the Trap you know what I’m saying like he’s poised man he’s he’s accurate um um he’s a I think first and foremost what I see he’s a a team leader man and he getting the boys pumped up yeah speaking of Kirk Big Boy I’m sure you saw this come s on it right down the street from mercedesbenz so he can yo little T contract for Kirk uh big boy it’s so great to see you I myself have lived in Atlanta for a hot minute and I wore my Falcon sweatshirt just for you today I’ve gone to Mary Max t- room Varsity couple of the new spots but I know for you you’ve partnered with former Falcons quarterback Michael Vic on many community events Atlanta’s a very unique and special place how has your friendship with Vic also been very meaningful to you um he’s just been cool from the start man always been the same guy um and he’s about Community he’s about taking care of the kids like me you know what I mean so whenever we get a chance to give back um we we team up and we do something explosive man I mean he’s he’s a one of my favorite people and I know there’s so much history there and it’s a golden era of Falcons football and they’re playing some really good football now too big boy but we got to talk about this it’s you’re wearing it we got it you’ve collaborated with the Falcons this week hell yeah we we want to hear about this partnership because honestly big boy it is so fresh and so clean talk about it hey man it’s just you know um we’ve been you know supporters of of the franchise since we started and they always supported us and we just thought it would be something cool we um the outcast merchandise is you know the merch is uh being renewed and we bring it back the over with the wing and we thought what better way to do it than bring it back with the falcon wings man so uh it’s gonna be a lot more to come go to outcast. comom I mean it’s on fire all right man I want to get a little personal with you big boy man your son uh cross Paton uh he’s now playing um at the HBCU Bon cookman down there in Florida uh and you don’t you don’t miss any games and I know with your busy schedule obviously that’s got to be challenging but what’s this what is that like being a dad in the stands watching your son now playing football it’s been it’s been a long journey man he started out he was uh went to Oregon played at Oregon for a couple couple years won uh two pack 12 championships in the Rose Bowl he played with Justin Herbert and Kayan tibo then he went to Nevada um and then he played at Nevada and then he got his m i mean got his degree and now he’s getting his Masters down at Bon cookman um matter of fact I’m leaving to go out there tomorrow um they’re playing um Grambling hopefully we can get this W man in the sing T night so we’ll be on the field with I love it I love it you know here here at gmfb we love music we love football we love food I know you like to go all out for your game days when it comes to cooking what’s your perfect tailgate spread while you watch the game on Sunday um we we used to do like a a grill lobster tail crab leg turkey burgers um you know we always have the guys over and we just you know try to make an event like every Sunday um but this Sunday is GNA be outcast day at uh uh the Falcons game so we going out there uh to to to beat the Cowboys oh I might need a tutorial I was going to say can come bar oh my good barbecue crab legs at my house it’s early but that makes me hungry you always always eat well in Atlanta that’s something I’ve definitely learned um I do again want to follow up sort of on the family front here congratulations also to you for being a grandfather talking about getting to watch your son play football but I’m expecting my second and my parents have just been like over the moon sending everything already for you what is it like getting to watch your grandson grow up it’s amazing man you know um I always you know wanted to be young healthy with a strong back so I can chase him around expect but he’s been on the road with me man he’s a young Jedi on training man I bring him on stage and the people go crazy man shout out to uh Unice AKA cheesecake chees yeah man just I just making it happen man Legacy yeah congrat all right so let’s get right is the Crux of what you’re all about big boy if uh if cheesecake could be one day a multiplatinum rapper or a Falcons quarterback which would be better um quarterback I like yeah what right now with with it rapping with it streaming no no that’s not gonna do it wow oh it’s it’s bad out there on the streets like that huh I mean just with the with the streaming I mean you know we came up you know physical copy CDs tapes and all that but we’re just streaming like um a billion streams you make like $100,000 I don’t like that ratio so um yeah go and get that $200 million quarterback contract make sure you got the right offensive line I hear you dude I hear you listen the the stories of you in the early days you and Dre working as hard as you did and and running and doing the lyrics while you were running so you could perform them on stage they’re legendary what would you say right now to a young person person who wants to be the next big boy who wants to be the next Outcast but is doing it in this climate for music what would you say to him what’s your advice um originality is key man just be yourself um it’s so much cut and Pace out there um you got to break through you got to be different man that’s that’s the whole Mantra Outcast we never wanted to fit in on anything normal so just um do something new man and if you want to go get it go get it you got to you got to just practice hard man and just get it done special to be one of one and I love how you guys came up with name Outcast when you hear though that your songs are still to the St I’m talking like The Originals the Throwbacks being played as Stadium anthems when you guys were in the booth did you ever imagine that we would still be bumping into some of these songs and as it’s Outcast Day on Sunday are we going to see you also Propel from the ceiling um at Mercedes Benz there are you afraid of heights at all I don’t I don’t think my insurance G cover that you know um it’s it’s just a blessing man you know to make ESS Classics and the music you know we started out in 1993 and now here we are 30 years later still hot relevant TV commercials world tours and um yeah man God is great for sure and so are you guys and so are everything you do you know what we love that you have big boy going on is that we love Jersey collections it’s NFL it’s what we do you showed off your your hangout where you have all your jersey collections it’s an amazing top to bottom collection you’ve got you have one that’s like either your favorite Jersey or maybe one that you’re missing that you really want to get your hands on you know what’s crazy because they’re all signed right um I need to get uh Tom Brady I I got I I just don’t have a autograph Tom Brady I bumped into him but I didn’t have a jersey on and then I actually found uh OJ Simpson is not signed though and I don’t think I can get no sign at this point that’s yeah that’s but I might just put it up anyway do do you have a Dion Sanders uh on Sanders Colorado because I mean you know he’s hot right now with with Colorado you got a coach Prime no I don’t but I’m he’s supposed to be sending me some shoes but I do you know a lot of people ask why don’t I have a Michael Vic I do have a Michael Vic I got a Michael Vic mannequin with the the Jersey the tights the shoes and everything sign they just didn’t see that yet that’s in the other manave that’s a hey that’s a serious man cave I’m just going to say I ain’t trying to just be all up in your bu but that man cave like I need one like that yeah keeping it player player um listen this this is big boy this is the gear he already plugged it outcast. comom you can get it through the NFL this is all officially
