  1. I always respect what Ray Ferraro has to say, but he's being diplomatic because he can't cross the line with serious criticism. The fact is, last night was one of the worst Canucks games in recent years. They sucked. If Canucks continue to play such poor hockey and keep losing, people are going to start calling for a new coach. Tocchett seems unable to make these players come together and focus like they need to, and play their hard and fast A game right from the very first period of every game, instead of their B or C. We will see what happens on the California road trip, because if they are as bad as they were last night, this season is going into the basement.

  2. Vancouver overacheived greatly last year, and are probably the most overrated team in the NHL right now. The recency bias of viewing the Canucks as a playoff lock is a pressure they won't live up to.

  3. The team is 4-2-3. My goodness some people acting like they at 0-9 lol. Look at other teams in the division struggling and in way worse of a spot. Tochett has talked about changing the system. They are still adjusting also with the new players. They will figure it out.

    Typical Canuck nation overreacting

  4. Ray is bang on with his assessment.

I think the problem is the star players would rather play slow cute fancy hockey where they think they can float around or mostly stand still and be successful that way somehow

  5. No one is talking about Myers being on the ice and kinda responsable for how many of the goals against this year? He can play passive at times, then jumps in at weird times, then puts stick too high here and a elbow in the ear there… Yikes! I think he is a physical specimen and a good team guy that can be a difference maker… just not always in a positive way.

  6. They should have repeated the same training camp as last year. They started out much more together defensively. That's lead to the a season start where issues like the PP are half the focus now while they still don't have good positioning and defensive transition.

They're too good not to get better, but they sure aren't clicking. Fortunately their division makes it possible that they can figure this out as they go and still make the playoffs.

They need to bring back the lotto line. Get those guys going because they all know each other so well they can start working well together again.

  7. Just stop thinking Canucks can be real team of any success, you’re dreaming.
been watch Canucks for over 45 years. They suck and will always be a
    disappointment!!!

  8. Look, I know all of us wishes it was the early 90s or the late 80s again, but somehow I don't think 2 grown men are going to dress up for Halloween. That's for kids. The table set up is enough. I haven't celebrated any of that stuff for years. You know what I do? Turn out all my lights and hope the kids outside don't hear my TV on low volume playing a scary movie and start pounding on the door.

  9. Pathetic

    Only one fight ??

That third period should have taken an hour

On frickin fight and your captains brothers are in town and you can’t even get up for that??
