First for the best team ❤
Miracle Mets 🍎
Alonso’s home run in Milwaukee will forever cement his Mets legacy but without Lindor’s Atlanta home run you can’t guarantee the Mets make the playoffs so I gotta go with Lindor’s Atlanta home run
Where’s Marc and James
Lindor's grand slam gave me absolute chills! It's iconic! It's #1!
No love for the devils?!
It's so hard to choose, but to me, Lindor's home run in Atlanta ranks just barely above Alonso's home run in Milwaukee because we had already blown the lead in Atlanta. A SECOND comeback in the same huge game? From Lindor, just back from the back injury? Our MVP? That did it. But yeah, it's so close. Alonso, Lindor, Vientos, Winker, and even Martinez really all had incredible HRs this year and deserve to be in the conversation.
It has to be Lindoir 🎉❤in Atlanta hands down !!!!
My favorite HR this year was Pete’s 3 run homer in game 3 of the wildcard because I don’t think I ever screamed and yelled with joy with my family at home louder than that moment. I was about to put my rally towels away when they were trailing 2-0 and my mom said “You better not act like this at homecoming.” So I prayed on my bed below a cross and I brought back down the towels. When ESPN went on air again in the top of the 9th my mother, sister and I waved our towels and got loud for the entire inning. My dad was sitting on the couch concerned, quit and worried until Alonso hit that HR. We jumped and we cheered so loud. It was an indescribable feeling.
My 2nd favorite was Jesse’s walkoff HR against the O’s because before the beginning of the series we were at Arizona for a while when the Mets were at the low point of the Grimace era and we were at the airport heading back to NY. When we were waiting for our flight my dad said to me “I think the Grimace Era is over buddy”. After Winker’s walk off I knew that Dad was wrong. I made a short about it and he was so proud of me for mentioning him saying that the Grimace Era is coming to an end.
