Where is the other athleticism gonna come from? You have only two other athletic players on your team. Why would you trade for somebody who is telling you upfront that they don’t want an extension? Why not Andrew Wiggins who has a higher salary?

Heck no why would we trade our most promising young player and multiple draft picks when Jimmy Butler's a unrestricted free agent and he already openly said he's not signing with any team next year or signing no extension. I've been against all the trades scenarios for the Warriors this season. I said we need to see what we have and evaluate what we need. We don't need another superstar as much as we need depth and improve defensively. Everybody made major improvements and we have added two assistant coaches. You never make a deal for marginal improvements for higher dollars. We are doing fine so there is no reason to even consider a trade as of right now. Having a top heavy roster isn't gonna bring another chip. Everybody is gonna have injuries other problems like chemistry and bad coaching. This team is better than a play in team. This is strength in numbers again and we don't need these top heavy teams cause they are mostly disappointing right now like the clippers and the suns. We need to keep what we got cause we got youth, energy and healthy bench. Trading for a salary heavy vet who is more prone to injuries won't make us any better especially since we are faster paced now. I'm glad this host isn't holding Dunleavy's position cause we would be 1-5 right now if that.
